Ward would embarrass Bellew. Would enjoy seeing it.

So

I didn't realize that prior to the first Kovalev fight he'd never even fought in Vegas. Maybe he's scared of flying but surely he couldn't have made a road trip to fight Froch in Atlantic City ??

He definitely flew to Atlantic City, I remember him saying in an interview. Doubt he's scared of fighting abroad, but just prefers having home advantage.

Would Ward step to?

I'd actually class it as a mismatch. Ward will step to! That's when Boomer struggles.

This could even get nasty, both arguing about who had to go home to their wife and kids safest.

Hearn said this would be for the WBC Cruiser.
I always thought the Emeritus title was just a way to get an immediate mandatory slot at the WBC champion when/if they return to boxing or in Bellews case the lower weight, not a 2nd belt? How could Ward "capture" a title that can only be awarded by a WBC vote outside the ring? I guess with these things they tend to make up the rules (and belts) as they go along...

Ward would win on points. The 25 pound jump from light heavyweight to cruiserweight will mean it goes the distance. Can't see Ward carrying enough power to stop Bellew as he has a mediocre stoppage record as it is

I'd be inclined to agree but that right he hit Kovalev with... imagine another 25lb behind it
But probably does go the distance

Can Bellew make cruiserweight? He looked fleshy at heavyweight.

I think Ward's maxed out his effectiveness size-wise, though Bellew is probably still beatable for him.
Ward is running 50/50 against Usyk in a CS poll, which I think is a bit generous to him. Although he beat Kov twice, I was surprised by how competitive the fights were from a technical boxing perspective (going into the first bout I expected a fairly comfortable 9-3 type win for AW). The biggest differences were that Ward showed better stamina and roughhousing abilities in close, but in Usyk he'd be dealing with an elite 200 pounder who has shown no propensity to wilting, and in fact grows stronger as the rounds progress.

No he's scared of not having the ref, judges and promoter on his side. A total pussy

Would certainly spell trouble for Bellews dick and balls.

Those were lefts.
But yes, I'd imagine if Ward threw them with a bit extra weight behind them you'd be pissing blood
