Since Englishman Tony Bellew stunned the boxing world back in March to stop David Haye inside the distance in a heavyweight contest in London, opportunities have also been flowing his way at the moment.

The latest it appears is a possible showdown with Andre Ward. Speaking on the Metro, Bellew confirmed:

“Eddie Hearn (Bellew’s promoter) has spoken with representatives of Ward’s. We’ve had talks and we’re going to go from there.”

It would be interesting to see at what weight such a bout could occur it.

Tony Bellew is slowly but surely turning into Amir Khan before our eyes with all of the people he claims to be fighting nest through the media without ever signing any contracts to these fights. The guys becoming a dick.
