The thread about Jorge Amparo got me looking at his record & I saw that he fought a bloke named Brent Kosolofski.

So I checked out Kosolofski's record & he retired with a record of 16(14)-1 but fought 11 fighters with losing records.

His only loss was to a bloke named Desmond Finger who himself was 13-0 with 12 kayos & beat Kosolofski on a split decision in Vegas on the day before Greg Haugen became the first man to beat Hector Camacho, 38-0.

It was also the day before Chris Eubank did the famous backward headbutt against Dan Sherry :D

Anyway, back to Kosolofski's only loss. He was 5-0 & lost to a man who had also fought complete garbage but who beat him on a split decision over 8 rounds that night.

But Finger never fought again for whatever reason.

So now I am looking in to what happened with both Brent Kosolofski & Des Finger.

If anyone has any info please let me know :TU:

Don't know but found this however this was years after he quit

A former Olympic boxer has been sentenced to six and a half years in prison on charges that relate to an incident that occurred over two years ago. 48 year year old Brent "Coco" Kosolofski of the Calgary area was scheduled to stand trial in Lethbridge Provincial Court Thursday. Instead he pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault, unlawful confinement, uttering threats and robbery. Back in September 2010 Kosolofski and another person went to a farm in the Stavely area and attempted to steal several items. A man who had some horses on the property was severely beaten when he attempted to stop them. Kosolofski represented Canada at the 1988 Summer Olympics as a boxer. He later turned pro and fought for a World Title. He was given credit for 29 months served in pre-trial custody, leaving him with just over four years still to serve. A co-accused, Dale Corrigan of the Calgary area, faces the same charges and will be in court November 19th."

The list of commonwealth LHW champs shows an 'R' against him (retired). Strange as you say as he carried on fighting but fought nobodies. He had a decent record too and looked strong against Gale. His loss to Fingers he was over 20lbs heavier than in his previous fight and then he dropped weight again after the loss. In Mickey Vanns autobiography he rated Kosolofski and thought he could've made it to the top and mentions him being jailed for robbery.
