Ancajas defends his IBF Super Flyweight title against Kinoshita on the Pacquiao/Horn card this weekend, I know nothing of either guy apart from their records which I just browsed, both guys have 1 loss and a draw with 25/26 wins each, Ancajas seems the puncher though, this is Kinoshita's 2nd title shot after dropping a decision to Tete for the vacant belt a few years back

Hard to say but Ancajas is getting a lot of KO's lately so i'll go with him, on points though, if Kinoshita went the 12 round distance with Tete he must be tough

Ancajas is a real sharp all rounder. Lovely to watch him in action, solid puncher, nice speed, good movement. Kinoshita is a bit "meh" he got a total gift against Nawatedani (that result made the news on the sports pages in Japan). Ancajas, stoppage

Ancajas has a very tidy style and doesn''t waste much. He was accurate, had a good sense of range, and never looked bothered. I'm not sure how much of a second gear he has though; he hardly ever took the lead and didn't really up his output.

They talked of him fighting Jamie Conlan, and I imagine that he'd be too polished for JC, but perhaps Conlan could make him work at a pace he's not comfortable with? I think that would be the hope at least...

They also talked of him facing Tete, and I think that would turn out being a skillful but very boring fight.

Anyone else think that Jones is slurring a bit/speaking like he's got braces in?

He doesn't sound any less coherent, and it could just be my stream...

Ancajas has moved into another gear in the second half of fights a few times, seems to slowly warm up. Lovely tidy fighter who never seems to look uncomfortable or looks like he's forced to fight someone elses fight

I actually saw Ancajas fight to win the belt was a decent one actually.

I think Hearn can get him over here for Yafai. Tough weight class.

Ancajas looked solid tonight. Kinoshita was a tough, but limited opponent, but Ancajas handled him the way a top fighter should handle a guy like that.

Lovely right hand from Ancajas to finish off Kinoshita, he was always in control, far too quick and sharp for Kinoshita, first time ive seen Ancajas, he looks a quality southpaw with power and accuracy, he was just starting to fade a little I thought just before he found the KO but he switched right on to get Kinoshita out of there, Kinoshita brave but outgunned from the start

Wins against a few good domestic foes Onaga, Oba, Shiraishi, Ebisuoka, and Otsuka all in the last 6 years is better than anything on Smiths record ;) he was a madatory due to the fact Arroyo dropped out of an eliminator on a week's notice earlier in the year (not sure why both Arroyo brothers seem to have gone to the Guillermo Rigondeaux school of career self destruction).

His only win of note since the Tete loss was a REALLY bad gift Vs Cyborg Nawatedani, which should have shown why the odds were the way they were-
