None of Hennessy's big fights hold together. It's the promoter's task to hold fights together and Hennessy is the worst offender in British boxing at being unable to do so - yes, even worse than allegedly.
Ask yourself this! How much interest would there have been in the main event (Eastman-Sendra) if Froch-Dodson hadn't been announced as the chief support weeks ago? It's all bollocks.

Warren's fights hold together better as most of the time they are TBA until a week or two before the fights thats why!!

Very enjoyable read (if you're a Froch supporter like myself). I gave Dodson the benefit of the doubt first time but I too am starting to question his appetite for this fight.

Also, regarding the Hennessy's shows I've never been in the least bit dissapointed with what he's served up. The quantity may not compare to Warren's offerings but the quality is far superior in my opinion.

Can't disagree with that mate, his shows are always more competetive anyway.

The ones I've attended have been pretty good I must say. The atmosphere for the Walker v Karmazin bout was good, though the seating arrangements could have been a bit better. Ally pally is a great venue for boxing though.
