Horn would do a smart move to not fight Spence

The entire Welterweight division will be wanting to fight Horn. They're just waiting for one of two things.

A. Pac turns down the rematch

B. Pac accepts and fights the rematch

Regardless of what happens. Whether Horn wins or loses the rematch...other Welterweights are gonna be looking to fight him and beat him more decisively than Manny.

Horn will have at least 4 or 5 more big opportunities off of the Pac fight. Even if he loses all of 'em from here out.

I'd be pretty disappointed if Spence's next fight was horn. Maybe if he fought Manny and horn at the same time it would be competitive. I think Errol is gonna fight Peterson.

Jeff Horn is no Joe Smith... He doesn't have the punching power... He's another Tim Bradley.. another Manny Pacquiao... and another Amir Khan

Which means he'll never fight Errol Spence and will look for the weakest possible opponents if he beats Pacquiao again -- which I doubt he'll do.

The evidence suggests that the opposite is true.

I can remember not too long ago Spence's team was basically criticized for considering a fight vs Horn. Spence was not a champion, needed to prove himself yet, etc. Pacquiao, on the other hand, got a pass because it was his "retirement tour", or some bullshit, by his nut hugging fans. Quite a few on this site are pretty hypocritical. Floyd was lambasted for fighting Berto for his final fight, and was a year older than Pac at the time. I'm quite sure Spence would still be criticized for a fight vs Horn.

I'm consistent. I didn't give Pac sh*t for the Horn fight because it was his "retirement tour", I also didn't give Floyd sh*t for Berto. Every fight isn't gonna be the biggest thing ever.

Considering Floyd was JUST coming off the biggest payday in the history of the sport I wasn't too surprised or judgmental of him that his next fight wasn't as big

Pull your plonker out of Floyds arse badhusker. Floyd was still on top for the toughest challenges.

I would on the basis that horn isn't a top fight, but to collect 2 belts on the spin would be good. For a mega fight with Thurman

Be fair to horn, it's the judges that have let boxing down, not horn. Horn played his part in a gutsy effort. If you're going to have a pop it should be at the judges

Smith isn't even a scalp is he? Unless you're a 175er on the way up

I'm pretty sure Barrera was salivating at a fight with Smith. Otherwise he would fight Beterbiev. :OhYes:

Don't see nothing wrong with Spence pushing for this fight. At end of the day Spence is a champion who proved himself on his opponent home turf. I mean Spence deserve it. :OhYes:

Now Horn is probably ranked at 47 where Smith is at 75. So its not a disrespect to either fighter.

Spence isn't going to push for this fight because he knows there is absolutely zero chance he will ever get it. Anyone with half a brain knows that.

Horn is going to fight pac again and if he wins, will get matched up against other arum guys. Best case would be Crawford.

Why the hell would arum put horn in with spence? A fight that doesn't make great money against a guy he doesn't control?

I agree this fight isn't happening. 90% of stuff discussed here doesn't happen tbh does it!
