A 6 rounder against no 178 in the world, pretty good prep for a title shot. Blimey, ud think Frankie could stump up for something better than that?

I saw fwank on his ifl interview saying that fury would lose his mandatory if he has a fight before Parker so its just an exhibition fight.

That can't be right surely, encouraging fighters not too fight to keep their mandatory spot :witzend:

Exactly. Crazy rule. Ok, lose his mandatory spot if he loses, but not if he wins. Also, changing it to an exhibition sets a dangerous precedent and potential new trend if allowed.

Can only assume Frank wants Hughie to have some TV exposure.

He, and Peter Fury, said that they want him to just get the feel of going out to box after so long out of the ring.

Also, and yes I am a sad anorak, it looks like - because Fury & Parker already have a fight lined up - neither one can take a fight in the meantime. That does actually make sense. Hence the exhibition.

Doesn't even look like it is in TV.

Nothing major, just an exhibition, it'll get him back in the mind of fighting I spose

Hes fighting Sokolowski apparently. That could be a good test for a rusty Hughie.Much better journeyman than I expected if im honest.

Peter knows exactly how to deal with him though as he showed with Con Sheehan boxing his headoff for 6 or 8 rounds last year.
