The Bobfather had quite a few motives to screw Pacquiao. The Bobfather call the shots. Not the Filipino.

I believe the correct English word for that article is "drivel"
Please feel free to correct me if that is the wrong one

I agree with some points int he article. Especially the idea of transferring star power by manipulating an older fighter into fighting a younger one to transfer their following with a decisive loss to get the public opinion onto their new 'poster boy' so to speak.
But as the article goes on it just sounds more and more like an attack on Arum, maybe it is justified but until Paquiao gives a full interview on his opinion and the situation as it stands it's really just speculation.

I agree completely with a lot of this article and have had this opinion since this idiotic Horn fight was signed. This was all orchestrated by Arum to do one thing and one thing only, create a star in an untapped market. That's it. You have to be an absolute moron to not raise an eyebrow when this fight with Horn was first announced. I said it right from the start...Arum is going to squeeze out Manny for every drop he can and he's going to use Manny's star power to build up another fighter and that's exactly what happened.
I mean think about it...WHY would you ever take a legendary boxer like Manny in the twilight of his career...have him fight a no name fighter and give that no name fighter home field advantage? There's only one reason to do that. You're Bob Arum...you're a guy that doesn't see a person in Manny, he see's a part..equipment..overhead...and wonders how can i make the most of that? hmm. Scumbag. Manny deserves only top fights with the top fighters right now. He's earned that. He's paid his dues already so he should never be a visiting fighter in a strange land.

As much as I hate Arum, you can't put the blame entirely on him. Of course he will try to use Manny to make the most money, its what he does. What so many fail to realize or admit, is the fact that Pacquiao has re-signed over and over with Arum. His choice. Pacquiao agreed to fight Horn. His choice. Arum (and several on this board) used the excuse of fighting Horn as Pac's retirement tour, going to different countries. Manny is responsible for his own decisions. Arum is a slimy sack, but Manny decides who he fights. Manny will decide if there is a rematch, and Manny will decide who he fights after that.

I don't agree entirely with what you're saying.
Manny is half retarded and will do what Arum says.
