I may be jumping the gun here but assuming that Sky pick up the Mayweather - McGregor mismatch, which of their pundits do you expect to sacrifice their integrity and credibility by trying to sell this as a sporting contest?

I would like to think that Froch and Bellew would actually call it for what it is, but will they given that they would be expected to sell the event?

Talking of this match, I was watching a presser for it this morning. Those two are great at selling a fight. It was much better that what you normally see.

By August 1st every single one of them will be UFC experts and calling how this is a genuine 50-50.

Bellew will be the head cheerleader given his love of a pantomime.

The Sky Sports pundits have integrity?

To be fair to Froch, he said the other day that McGrogor has zero chance in this fight and that he would do well to land a few punches. They are buying it though.

Johnny Nelson definitely, that's if you think he has any integrity to sacrifice in the first place

Paulie did the presser for Showtime and he was on the line of 'big event, but McGregor has a punchers chance and no more.'

I expect they'll focus on it being a big event and try and get some MMA clown in to pretend McGregor isn't getting battered.

Yup Nelson has sold his soul to the corporate devil which is Sky. Whish is a shame as when he is serious he is ok at the job.

For all their faults, Glenn and Jim would have fvcking slammed this event.

The final press conference of the tour is Friday at Wembley arena.

I'd be very surprised if the uk TV deal is not announced there.

Have to admit for this one I'm looking forward to the bull5h!t sky sports are going to say.

Jim Watt would of been fantastic about this.

Watt was hugely under-rated by Sky.

I think Ian Darke and Jim Watt were a good pair up. I never thought I'd say it at the time but Ian Darke is sorely missed as a boxing commentator

Paulie was totally slamming it before it was officially announced, then he had to suck it up and tow the corporate line

I wouldn't hold my breath. In Paul Smith's latest world title challenge every single Sky pundit who was asked how the fight would go in a piece on the Sky Sports app all said Smith would win. Just let that sink in.

Jim Watt was ok but had a lot of absolute shockers imo, and his scorecards were horrible.

Glenn Mcllory was also way off a lot of the time

I picked zeuge having never seen him fight, purely on the basis that smith is British level, European at a push, so the odds were a guy with a world belt was above him

None of them will. They will bang on about: what if McGregor lands? Mayweathers age... 'biggest upset ever', biggest fight of all time - can McGregor do it etc etc and before you know it the sales will go through the roof
