The Krays and boxing

Heard from a source that Ronnie Kray raped a boxer from the East end who had won a gold medal at the Melbourne Olympics.

He was only little bit hung around with the twins after he turned pro and retired.

Not gonna say is name.

given the massive list of potential candidates it's safe to say his anonymity is assured

If this information is correct, it took me about 45 seconds to work out who it was.

Even if there was clues to the comment you made this is a boxing forum and some very intelligent guys here that would know the answer by just say Ronnie Kray, Gold medal, wink wink.

Its like going onto a forum where Jeremy Clarkson resides and saying. 'I have heard there is this thing, not saying its name but its got 4 wheels and runs on smelly liquid'

I heard from a source that had they been more dedicated, they'd have gone much further than Olympic gold medalists.

I'm not sure about the story tbh, but who knows with Ronnie kray!

I was hoping this thread was going to be about the krays and boxing themselves! Not rape

There are the rumours he was into young lads, and this boxer certainly did fit that mould.

Anyway, both dead now so no point. RIP To the boxer, and thanks for winning us a Gold. Must have been tough in those days.

Both were out and out nonces. I've been told only Reggie could box, Ronnie was too wild and a shite trainer.

Mickey Duff said they were both crap but their older brother Charlie was a decent pro.

It was an ex British champ told me Reggie could box but was a dreadful person. I don't think anyone could say anything bad about Ronnie that wasn't true. Pedo, procurer, rapist, shite boxer, folk hero

Because I love boxing history so if you have inside knowledge I'd love to hear it.

Did he train with them?

The Krays were very involved with service up kids to nonces in high places E.G. Lord Boothby. They obviously pushed their luck and then the establishment had to reign them in and they were shut up for good
