Corrales defends his WBA Super Featherweight title against Castellanos on the Berchelt/Muira card this Saturday hopefully setting up a unification between the winners, I haven't seen Corrales yet, 1st i'd heard of him was when he KO'd Uchiyama in 2 to win the title, I'm looking forward to seeing what he's like, Castellanos coming off a shock stoppage win over the finished Gamboa, he's got a lot of losses on his record though especially early on and a few by KO, he seems to have raised his game though and he's got nothing to lose, surely Corrales has too much class for him??

Castellanos can punch - he's improved a lot since losing a lot early in his career (Garcia/Salido)
He can certainly be caught though - hence why he's been picked for the defence but still in top 15 in rankings to get passed.

Corrales wins a close TD after the fight was stopped in the 10th due to Castellanos being cut under the eye after an accidental head clash, shame for it to end that way it was a good fight with a good blend of styles, Corrales the stylish boxer and Castellanos the rugged fighter, that was the 1st time i'd seen Corrales he's a skilled fighter who likes to take chances, he likes to trade and he was down twice in the 4th but recovered well and put Castellanos down with a left hand in the 7th although the shot landed on Castellanos's glove
Corrales looked in control for the most part but there were times when Castellanos nailed him in exchanges and he always looked dangerous, I had it 96-92 Corrales at the end, wouldn't mind seeing a rematch though

Always think Castellanos makes a decent fight - rugged/tough and better than 24-11 record would suggest.

Defenitely, Corrales was clearly the better technician but he gets wild when he's on the inside and Castellanos looked like he could tag him again before the headclash stopped it
