Ticket's do not seem to be flying and the top tier are not for sale it seems.






All the coloured areas are tickets available but the top tier does not have 1 seat that is coloured suggesting that those seats are not open. I would have thought more tickets would have sold than the coloured seat plan suggests.

Why arent people buying tickets to see Fury V Parker even thought Peter Fury has said Tyson Fury will be on the undercard

At this point I'm not sure that you can count on any member of the Fury family to actually go through with a scheduled fight anymore.

Hughie Fury is a nobody to the British public and even to many boxing fans. I have very little interest in him, so it's going to be a very tough sell I agree.

I know what you mean but surely boxing fans would be buying a ticket purely on the basis of a 'world title' fight and the possiblility of seeing Tyson's return.

I'm not a fan of either Fury boxers but its a night out and a chance to pick up a cheapish decent seated ticket. Ive got my ticket and its located block 102 which is a decent view of the ring. Not sure what undercard it will be but for me its just a nice trip to Manc with my lad for a bit of a piss up and a fight.

Yeah and if you book and it's cancelled you'll get refund minus booking fees - hence why maybe some are holding off to see if the event happens.

It's like betting on a horse that continually refuses to start, in the end you either don't back it or wait till it actually comes out of the stalls or in this case the day of the fight once they've weighed in etc.
Who would waste money on booking fees, hotel costs etc when you know there is a massive chance it won't happen and TBA rocks up instead

OK, so Huey cancelled once. He isn't going to do it again or his career and credibility goes down the dunny. From what I have assumed there will be a replacement for Huey waiting in the wings, if that helps.
It's not a 'big' fight, but I believe it will be a pretty even fight.

Think a lot of those seats will shift in the final week. Most people will be playing it safe and look to support the event when they 100% know it's going to happen. That being said, it's a far cry from the likes of Joshua who sells out the 02 in 6 mins flat.

Also from the press conference this is Duco/Hennessey Promotion, I thought Hughie was with allegedly.

Once? Are you sure? One thing is certain, there is no way in hell Tyson is fighting on the card.

Did seem strange that FW wasn't involved when he had the 1st fight on BN.

I can't imagine the purse/pot is anything like what it was 1st time around.

Warren has a history of getting his guys into a WBO mandatory position, and with Hughie's limited top level experience has done well to get him mandatory and keep him there throughout injury and inactivity.

Was hoping it was on allegedly as I am already subscribed, I cant see this doing many ticket sales and PPV buys without Tyson.

I've just spent a year living in New Zealand & went to a couple of Parker fights live whilst out there. Was planning to go to the originally scheduled Fury/Parker fight (had travel sorted getting from the South Island up to Auckland in the North Island) in May but obviously the Fury camp pulled out last minute & kept everyone in the dark.

As a result, as interested as I am in buying travel/accommodation for Manchester, I'm wary about committing to it - fool me once & all that. If I do go, I won't be buying anything until very late on.

The entire thing is baffling. Why has Fat mick chosen to book the biggest indoor arena in the UK to host a fight between 2 nobodies
to the general public? It's not long ago that fat mick and co where struggling to
Shift a ticket for fury - Wlad 2 in the same arena so to go back there again to try to sell a fight involving lesser names is mind boggling..

Having said all that quite what Duco / Team Parker are playing at entertaining these con men Leaves me scratching my head...they must have some kind of trick up there sleeves surely...Duco guys seem like pretty sharp business men so you have to wonder what's going on.Can you imagine the stuff Hearn was telling them about Team Fury when they met for that business lunch

Heard about that but I was under the assumption that a fight with Whyte would be in London instead? I could be totally wrong.

Yea, I can't confirm for you. Parker and his team met with Eddie, this is for sure, And Whyte's name keeps coming up. Huey is upset at the whole involvement of Match room so that says something.

Tyson won't be fighting and boxing fans weren't bothered about getting tickets to see him fight Wlad so I fail to see why they'd be queuing up to see him against Manuel Charr.

The 'world title' element is fairly meaningless. BJS is a weak champion and ended up in a leisure centre.

You can't blame Hearn for putting himself in prime position for Parker if the show goes wrong.

I'm not blaming him or calling him a cockroach which made me laugh. It gives me confidence that Eddie put his nose in, the man knows how to "get er done"
If he has to step on toes, do what. It's good for boxing and everybody loves a plan B just in case, especially when tickets and travel plans are being made.
