Apparently David Haye is lined up to fight Hughie Fury next if Fury beats Parker. How do you see that going is Fury wins?

If Hughie can beat Parker, he can beat current Haye.

Taking the Parker out of the equation, it's hard to call, because Hughie hasn't fought anybody & David Haye appears to be made out of balsa wood, coupled with the fact that he's been inactive for lengthy periods, only to return to feast on a couple of corpses & take on an overweight cruiserweight, only for something else to go snap in his body!

Even before his body broke, he looked awful against Bellew, I think Hughie would likely beat him.

Beating Parker would be solid. Haye, not anymore.

Still a really dumb choice of the Fury's to fight Daffy Duck, no matter how easy the win for them will be.

I think people overstate the Haye injuries. He tore his Achilles against Bellew but he's never done it before. If it was a repeated individual problem then it's a legitimate issue but I think it's more a case of a few different injuries.

Fighting Haye on free TV would be great exposure for Hughie or Parker..
Undercard would already be sorted with the fighters recently signed to Hayemaker Ringstar.

Makes sense to me.

I fancy Hughie to beat Parker
I think he'll pull a boring outboxing job on him, with a little to spare. A bit like Tyson vs Wlad. So I won't be surprised if (when ) it happens.
IF Haye gets back to (say) 90% of his old self - which he should be able to do; as others have said it's first serious injury - then I think he'll be too fast, too mobile, too powerful and too experienced for Hiughie.

It just highlights how injury prone Haye is though, thats been a constant problem throughout his career and it isn't going to get any better the older he gets.

Andriy Rudenko is far better as Mark Dummery and the worm. Let alone Parker lol.
Daffy Duck has absolutely no chance in a fair fight.

When Briggs tore his biceps against Vitali Klitschko in the first round, and still kept standing till the end, everybody said he was abum. When Daffy Duck got injured while getting completely dominated in the first few rounds against a fat cruiserweight people say similar things like you say. It's a joke, Daffy Duck is a scared lier, a coward, a scammer, a silly cheater who doesn't even dare to accept the same terms of conditions he pushed a cruiserweight to sign when he wanted to face him instead of the risky Briggs.

Most rate Huey as an underdog against Parker. I rate it as a 50/50 fight.

Those photos Peter Fury posted of Huey training 'old school' also made me laugh.

How is it possible to overstate Haye's injuries?

He's pulled out of a good few fights with injuries & he was inactive for almost 4 years due to a major shoulder injury.

He then returns & the first time he fights someone that can hit him back, something else goes 'snap' in his body.

I think that is more than enough grounds to cite his injury record.

It's the difference in the injuries though. His shoulder was injured, he had it operated on, there have been no issues with it since.

As far as we know, I doubt he can train like he used to prior to the shoulder op.

Yeah but I think there's no chance he gets close to that, hence Hughie is favoured.

That would be my concern.

The Haye that beat Valuev or Ruiz would easily beat Hughie. However, I think Haye is now too old, too inactive and too injury prone to get anywhere near that good again.

Haye will never get anywhere near what he was, his body is breaking down and his timing and reflexes looked markedly worse against Bellew. No way he will stand up to the rigours of training / fighting that would be required to get anywhere near top level again.

This fight sounds plausible weather Fury beats Parker or not, it just changes if the fight would be for the WBO world title or the currently vacant British heavy weight title.

I don't see Fury beating Parker, the New Zealand boxer has something to prove by winning, it proves he can win away from home and sends a message if he wins decisively.
Fury on the other hand is and even if he won, he would continue being over shadowed by his cousin, everyone knows the Fury name because of Tyson and not Hughie unfortunately.
