Didn't expected it :maybe: . Another good, decent and heart boxer who retires in less then 1 week... I expected at least 5 more average to good fights from him. wtf happened? :o

He didn't have the same fire against Berchelt, perfect timing imo

Berchelt went very strategical and less "brawler", I think nobody expected it, even Miura and it worked like a charm. He cancelled Miura's strategy and couldn't do much, if Berchelt keeps this new strategy smart boxing, he will give trouble to many opponents. :OhYes:

It's a travesty that Uchiyama rematch didn't happen when they both had titles. First fight was a belter.

He lost in an OPBF title fight earlier today then announced he was retiring.
Makoto Fuchigami has retired too

Good timing indeed!

Well-considered decision by Miura, as he definitely could still
compete at the top level.

Fuchigami might have gone on a little longer than necessary... could
see how he wanted another title shot after Golovkin though.

These warriors have to retire early or else they suffer permanent damages... Gatti needed multiple surgeries.... Vazquez is half blind... Those foty type of ring warriors make serious life sacrifices for this sport and the fans

You've really lost the plot.. you're a white British guy obsessively following domestic level and journeymen from Japan.. very strange lol

Lots of quality action fights and good matchmaking on the Japanese scene. I can see why any Boxing fan would enjoy it. It's a time thing that keeps me from watching it usually, but the fights are well worth your time.
