Keith & Erroll destroy Mikey

His handspeed was ok, but his footspeed was slower than canelos   :maybe:

Having slow feet against power punchers like one time and texas boy means you end up as a punching bag. Also his power was at best good at 140 but far from 147 elite puncher level.

Thurman isn't a big puncher.

Very solid for WW - at least 8/10.....He would be a favourite against Mikey..........

I like Mikey, but Spence would literally destroy him, it would be a mismatch.....

More like 6.5/7, skilled boxer. Solid power, nothing like Spence. I think Thurman/Garcia is 50/50. Mikey has better skills but Thurman is faster. I agree that Spence is too big and strong but I don't think anyone would destroy Garcia. He's a great fighter.

Mikey v Lomassiah at 135, or v Hitman Jr at 140 are the fights. We all know why those fights are unlikely to happen.

Thurman/Garcia would be 55/45 type of fight, in my opinion.
Yes, Spence is too big and strong, and skillful .....I think he would KO/TKO Mikey, easily......
I like MG, and I would not like to see him above LWW, he is capable to achieve a lot at 140, even to become an undisputed champion if Crawford move up at 147..........

Crawford will be the only undisputed champion for many years. The chips have just all fallen in place with him and indongo.

Why wouldn't you want to see him at 147 if you have him the slightest of underdogs against the consensus$1guy?

I like Garcis but I think 140 is his division. There are killers at 147. He wouldn't beat Spence, that I know. Thurman would be tough also. Stay at 140.

Mikey won every round last night. There ain't really much to criticize in his performance. He did what he needed to do and controlled the fight every step of the way.

I think Thurmans frame/size would give Garcia too many problems to deal with stylewise, albeit I think Garcia the better technician by some way he would struggle to outbox Thurman from the outside

I think 147 is too big for Mikey. 140 is even kinda pushing it. Jip just don't like Mikey and will pick the better fighters at whatever weight above him to beat him.

It shouldve been his BREAKTHRU fight. Floyd needed a phenomenal ppv performance vs gatti. He did it. Mikey needed a big performance against broner to enter the heart of fans and to enter the ppv door. He won, but it wasnt enough. Broner is weak, not much to offer, mikey shouldve atleast try to end in a spectacular way. Fans would be screaming for a big time ppv showtime wirh against crawford, thurman or spence, now its just mmeeeehhhh....

Had Mikey been facing Gatti, he would have done similar to what Floyd did. But, Broner is tough. He was the bigger, faster, more powerful guy. Before last night, Mikey has really only been known among knowledgeable boxing fans. Not the case now. He totally dominated Broner. There were no knockdowns, but Mikey was far from being cautious. His name is out there now, and believe me, he has plenty of exciting, stand out performances to come.

If PPV is the measure of success there won't be any more successful boxers soon.

You are right. I always hate it when floyd fans say "he is boring but he is a ppv megastar" like they benefited from floyd generating ppv buys.

I just mean that i want big fights that i am excited in the matxh ups.

Garcia needs to stay where he is. Crawford will leave 140 when he unifies it. Garcia can fight Postol or something while he waits for Lomachenko to make his way up. He's better off waiting on Loma than he is going up to see Spence or Thurman.

Yeah, he moved as fast as he needed to last night.

I would like to see MG test the waters at 147 first. Amir Khan would be a good test for starters. Not sure if MG has big power enough to KO many at 147. I don't think Broner was hurt at all. If not Khan, maybe Danny Garcia?

Too bad Arum is such a selfish greedy prick. Mikey vs Crawford is the fight that should happen next, or Lomo vs Mikey at 135.

Spence has jab speed and age.
Garcia has elusiveness accuracy and follow through.
