Bellew-Haye II is Virtually Dead, Impossible To Reach Deal

"Hearn: Bellew-Haye II is Virtually Dead, Impossible To Reach Deal"
According to promoter Eddie Hearn, fans can practically forget about a fall rematch between David Haye and Tony Bellew.
Hearn, who promotes Bellew, says it's become impossible to get the two boxers to agree on the terms.
Because of the win, Bellew believes that he's entitled to A-side treatment in the rematch. Haye believes his rival's win is tainted due to the injury and he also feels that his name still carries a lot more weight than the Liverpool fighter.
Hearn is even finding it impossible to get them to agree to minor things, like first billing rights on the promotional items and the order of the ring walks.
"I don't think Bellew-Haye will happen. Although there was hugs and kisses in the ring after the fight, trying to get these two to agree to anything is a complete disaster. Tony Bellew feels like he got the win, so he should get the benefits of that win, and David Haye feels like Bellew still isn't on his level. When you're talking about ring walks, who goes first on the poster, changing rooms, splits - all this kind of stuff, it's impossible. I think at this stage, Bellew-Haye II is virtually dead," Hearn told Sky Sports.
Thoughts?

If it were me I wouldn't give a toss who walked out first or had his name on the poster. Its the biggest bout financially for Bellew so I'd be surprised if he didn't push for a rematch.

Their last big payday and egos are the problem? Who would have guessed
Or is Eddie teasing us?
They are not getting any younger or better offers. I'd hate to see them both doing a *Khan*

A few days ago Tony Bellew ruled-out a potential bout against Andre Ward.
Today, his promoter Eddie Hearn effectively dismissed the possibility of a potential Bellew-Haye rematch.
Apparently, an announcement about Tony Bellew’s future is supposedly imminent, which kind of suggests that the ‘Bomber’ is likely to challenge Joseph Parker for his WBO world heavyweight title, assuming the New Zealander emerges victorious from his 23rd September title defence against Hughie Fury.
Part of me is hoping that Eddie Hearn’s announcement is simply a negotiating ploy to coerce David Haye into conceding he’s on the proverbial “B-side”, compelling the 'Hayemaker' to accept the terms of the offer presented to him by Matchroom Promotions for the Bellew rematch.

Daffy Duck just realises this guy is simply way to far above his league. It was just embarrassing to see Daffy Duck in the ring with someone with a pulse, despite it's a cruiserweight. That's also the reason why Dagfy Duck ducked Tyson Fury, as well as Shanning Briggs. Daffy Duck also never deserved a fight against Klitschko, but it was just an easy belt to pick up for Wlad and Daffy was very very popular with dumb casuals, for whatever reason. He's like the Deontay Wilder of the UK. Only fight someone with a pulse for the highest payday he could ever get.
Bellew on the other hand is the real deal, he fully admits he got no chance against AJ, an in shape Fury, or Klitschko. Somehow he knows he's better as bums like Daffy. The only things he asks Daffy Duck is to accept the same terms as he accepted himself. Sadly Daffy Duck ducks, because he is a sad coward spreading lies. Daffy even acted like he gave money to a heavely injured boxer from his own pocket. While in reality Shannon Briggs did.

Read the first line then didn't bother with the rest. You haven't got a clue asdjkdl. Please stop posting about any Haye matters, you're clueless and frankly embarrassing

My opinion is I have doubts how much Bellew actually wants this fight. He's never been one really to demand certain things for a fight, has always struck me as a straight forward pretty easy guy for a promoter to deal with.
Haye has to concede ground as well as he must surely want to put the records straight on how the fight would have gone, injuries aside.
I know the first fight was a joke and the build up was a farce, but this is the right fight for each other, clearly imo

Hahaha, that's just plain pussy talk. This is like Gerald Washington claiming he's better as AJ.

I would prefer that Bellew fought Andre Ward. Haye can retire.

It's rare to hear Hearn talk like that. He can usually close the deal.

Yes. You'd assume it was an overwhelming desire that burned deep inside. Evidently not, if what we read is to be believed.

...Haye's been diva all his career long..now that he's getting older I would expect him to show more flexibility if he's interested in getting his reputation back and earning a bit on the side...am I looking forward to this rematch? NO..

We haven’t heard David Haye’s side of the story yet… and there are several British fighters that are incredibly reluctant to work with Eddie Hearn or his father, because of their dodgy business practices, so it’s a bit early to jump to conclusions.

Bellew is between a rock & hard place.
In sporting terms he's proven to be 1 of the best Cruisers around, so he could fight for world titles in the division.
But, i don't think he's interested in sporting achievements anymore - he believes he's a prizefighter & the CW division offers no Prizefights.
His best options is to fight Haye and hope he gets injured again - there's no other names at HW he could make money fighting and leave the ring conscious.

...my comment is largely based on Haye's negotiating pattern over the years as well as your quote above...I've been sceptical and at one point tired of and even amused at his excuses...but you are right - let's see what he's got up his sleeve this time..

If Haye does have diva demands, his opponents must be desperate to face him...
Fought away in Paris for 200lb title
Unified 200lb title in fight that the public called for
Fought and lost in unification fight at heavy away in Germany
Fought London rival in grudge match that the public wanted
Fought and lost to domestic rival at heavy in comeback, in a fight that his opponent chased and called him out on. This is due to the draw that Haye still is.
Granted this list isn't exactly roberto Duran esq, but Haye over the years has fought fights the public wants, and or has chased the biggest title fights at both his divisions, Mormeck and Enzo, Wladimir and chased Vitali but couldn't get him.
For someone that is so diva that's not to bad

..he travelled a bit but did he have any choice NOT to? ...there also used to be a lot of criticism regarding his HW level of opposition..negotiations with Wlad as to who was proverbial side A was epic. ..time wasted in between the fights...his "final" retirement and "unexpected" comeback...there's no denying he's a talented boxer who could have achieved more but it seems that the media attention has been a lot more important to him than commitment to sport especially over the last 5 years..

I'll admit to his commitment to the sport over last 5 years isn't what it was. He should be retired but like many before, have come back when they shouldn't. Hayes no unique case here. He clearly likes the sunshine and glamour side to stuff, but when he's fighting he's always trained hard to be in shape, the whole no heart thing is a myth, he's shown fighters guts many times. He was as fit as he could be vs Bellew but his body is injury prone. That's unlucky.
The fact you may think he had no choice but to travel is neither here or there, he did, which is the hard way. Many English fighters are lucky enough we bring them over here, he didn't have that luxury.
People will believe what they want to, but haye being a diva is greatly exaggerated by the media and then lapped up by fans imo. It was an easy angle for Bellew to harp on about

Basically Haye weren't so diva that he made mormeck come over to England, or Wlad. Some English champions never leave these shores

-Haye went to France to fight Mormeck, who was a belt-holder, right? Haye was NOBODY at this point..
-Haye went to Germany to fight Valuev who was a belt-holder, right? Haye was NOBODY at this point..
-Haye went second time to Germany to fight Wlad. I believe Wlad had 3 major belts at this time. Haye had just one...
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who needed whom mostly...Even a prima donna at one point has to decide what's more important..he was an ambitious boxer who desperately needed these belts, so he went for it..That's why I said earlier he had no choice, he HAD to travel...
