Do you think AJ will avoid Ortiz? When Ortiz fought here he didnt look that destructive as the rumours suggest. I know peolle say hes athe avoided heavyweight but i dont think AJ would avoid him because he is scared of him. I think people still have a poor opinion of Joshua's ability.

IMO Pulev more of a danger to Joshua. Ortiz in still relatively unknown so reward/risk ratio probably make him less appealing. AJ looks to have far more to his game than Ortiz. Dave Allen would get stopped in a round by AJ.

Too high risk/low reward for Matchroom. I'm sure AJ doesn't give a damn about that though. Pulev is a known commodity. Fairly tough, good jab, not too much power at top level. I'd say the consensus is that Ortiz is a bigger puncher, more awkward and a better counter puncher than Pulev.
IMO matchroom will be happy for Ortiz to go away, win a WBA mandatory, get older and come back with a bigger profile for a unification fight.

Not really on board with the above. Casuals don't know Pulev or Ortiz. Anoraks know both and many claim Ortiz poses the greater threat. What's so hard about promoting AJ versus King Kong ffs?

I think Ortiz rumoured granite chin is a bigger problem for AJ.

IMO the power makes Ortiz more dangerous. He's not the second coming of Shavers, but he's still a pretty good hitter; his issues are that he's sluggish, doesn't have a great work rate, and struggles to create openings when opponent don't give him counter opportunities.
I think Joshua can make more mistakes against Pulev....

Can see Joshua fighting Pulev and then fighting Ortiz. Ortiz having worked with Eddie for a few fights will allow them to do a deal with him so they can fight Pulev first.

Either Pulev or Ortiz would be reasonable opponents now Klitschko is out the picture.
Pulev is with saeurland so it will probably be easier to make that fight first (in fact they are probably already negotiating) and hope Ortiz is willing to wait for his shot at the winner.
I see no reason why Joshua shouldn't win both fights, provided he can pull out of Khans missus long enough to train.
