You're probably right , I think as well he'll go down as a wasted career he hasn't won a title fight in 6 years and I think he's wasted his best years

On the money.

He's completely pi$$ed away his prime, lying idle & chasing big fights he doesn't really deserve.

147 has been a smoking hot division for the last five years & somehow, Khan has managed to avoid fighting any of the big guns in the division to date.

What a complete waste of his prime years.

There's a lot of negativity around Khan but he seems a sound sort of guy and he's a feckin' good fighter (and entertaining). His inactivity hasn't helped but he wasn't to know the mega fights wouldn't come off, he was just trying to advance his career. As for the latest news, well ... no comment.

Surely though khan couldn't expect the big fights if he didn't have a belt any title would of put him in a much stronger bargaining position . that's how berto and the ghost got their Mayweather fights

cant have too many complaints, has ticked most of the boxes, successful amateur career, tv fighter, won world titles, was in entertaining fights made good money and still has his health. Most lads would give their right arm for that kind of career, the boy did well, as for wasted years sat around, I doubt he was sat around much, he was probably enjoying his life/money and just wasn't into fighting like he was as a younger man

Yes, you would think so. Then again you never know what goes on behind the scenes. Maybe his team told him they could fix him up. Belts are a bargaining chip, but not what they were.

Guy that ducked Kell Brook.

A legacy much like prince Naseem, was a big hit at first and will have people talking for a few years but in the end it'll all be forgotten or overshadowed by what he didn't do.

Khan will be remembered for chasing big fights he never had a chance of getting instead of doing what a lot of the big names were and winning the fights that mattered and proving he could hold his own against not only the big names but even the up and coming guys in the division.

The ducking of Brook was a very bad move by him, he also came across as pure disillusion and to be honest I was delighted the way Canelo smashed him up.

Genuine speed is the only positive but for me he is a bungalow fighter..... No upstairs.

I think Khan managed his career quite well. Pulling off the GingerHead payday was well played.

Quality fighter, that's why he has earned the big bucks

I'll remember him as a good fighter that could've accomplished more if he didn't piss away so many of his prime years waiting for megafights to happen which never did.

Nobody thought Amir Khan was a bigger star than Amir Khan himself did.

I'll remember him for the Maidana fight, that was one hell of a fight and one hell of a win, I feel bad how things seem to be turning out for him and I think he's had bad advice regarding his career, should have fought brook when the fight was red hot, it may still happen but I think the money/excitement will have dwindled.
