When you say "your environment" what do you mean?
Country?
Atmosphere?
Hemisphere?
Continent?

Originally I'm north Londoner, so Joshua, chunky are the two biggest name, although chunky isn't universally popular tbh
Now for my sins I'm in Birmingham, so Gavin, the savage, yafai bros are the biggest names

in Poland a lot of people know who is Adamek, Szpilka and Wlodarczyk. some people know Glowacki and Fonfara. behind them we got guys like Wach, Masternak, Zimnoch, Jackiewicz, Sosnowski, Ugonoh, before it was Wawrzyk too i think. so bad that guys like Sulecki or Syrowatka are almost unknown. if we talk about foreign fighters it was Klitschko brothers that were clearly at the top from a lot of time.

Boxing is an afterthought in Texas. I guess it would be Spence, but I haven't met anyone that likes Boxing here.

I will try to explain, I live in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Balkan (Southeastern Europe) - generally speaking, boxing here is almost dead. But, there is a solid number of casual fans who like to see HW fights on the highest level. So, I would say that most popular boxer, here, is Tyson Fury, but he is no more active (is he ?)....Recently, Anthony Joshua is #2, in fact, neglecting Fury, he is #1. Believe me, 1 out of 100, know who Lomachenko is. Mayweather is known, but he is not beloved, because of his behaviour.

I just asked two colleagues if they know any famous Czech boxers. One said "no idea", the other said "Conor McGregor"
Sigh.
Lukas Konecny would beat McGregor's face in

Oh, so they don't have to be from the area? Probably Joshua then, that'd probably be the case all through the UK I reckon.

In Vancouver, it may well still be George Chuvalo, who has transcended boxing in Canada to become a national figure with an oft discussed personal life. The recent Quebec based boxers get barely any coverage out here, and Id say that guys like Canelo, GGG, and certainly AJ are pretty much unknown to the general public. There is a solid sized Filipino community out here and Id hear casual discussion of Manny a few years back.

I live in Watford down the road from the estate Joshua grew up in so he is obviously the main man around here. Chunky now lives about 2 mins away and is starting to gain a bit more popularity but doesnt help his last few fights have been in the states. On a smaller scale Reece Belloti is from South Oxhey and is fairly well known round here. Also ex boxer now Ref Bob Williams is well know

Of course....Ali and Tyson were the most popular fighters here, and they are not from Balkan, certainly......

in Poland Joshua becomes to be more and more popular and it seems like he will take the top spot of the popularity rank instead of Klitschkos. Pacquiao and Mayweather are pretty known too though not like Klitschkos. Wilder was completely unknown but after beating Szpilka he is at least known as ''the black American that ktfo Szpilka'' by casual fans

Would have been Tyson Fury, although he isn't active and to think about it, not very popular.
Out of Crolla, Flanagan and Quigg. I would have to say Quigg..

I also wonder if there were any TV spots in your countries including a boxer, it is a kind of factor that somehow measures popularity.
in my country Wlodarczyk was in an advertisement of a beer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQG3oURUbzo and Adamek of an energy drink
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5c6EY7ye45g
Wlodarczyk also was included in some of TV shows and had his own roast earlier this year
Adamek had a short episode in politics, tried to be elected to the European Parliament

I was in Texas a few years ago for a boxing event. It seemed to be popular then, but I guess MMA has taken over in Texas.

It's a vast state. I went to see Spence and Lubin at a club downtown a while ago and there was a decent crowd. I just mean nobody I've met has been a fan. I'm sure they're around. LOL

OK
If all in one day
A hijacked airliner ditched into the ocean
The All Black flanker twisted his knee in training
And Joseph Parker came back from Vegas to visit his family..
The 6 o'clock national news would show the plane story 3rd.
