Zumbano Love can be durable at times - if he takes Price long he could easily gas again.

Potential fight of the year.

Love can get floored early but he went into his shell and lasted the distance against Briggs so it's entirely possible he could do the same against Price. To be fair he'll only have to make it to half distance and then he can probably blow Price over...

Was very surprised to hear he's fighting again, thought for sure he was done and was retiring but if he want's to carry on then good luck to him.

He's not washed up since his boxing ability has always been there. It's his fitness and taking punches he didn't need to were where he fails, it all depends how he's trained since his last fight. If he's gotten fit, if he's worked on his defence and head movement then he has every chance to make a come back and go out on his own terms.
If he hasn't, then this is literally going out for one last fight to prove something to himself and leave it all in the ring.

If price wins this fight I think he would a decent opponent for Joe Joyce's debut early next year.

I dont think it would be in all honesty. The only thing that price brings is experience. He will never be a serious contender and if Joyce is as good as being touted it would be a decent place to start.

Of course. I dont see Price any different to an Eastern European brought over with a 30 or 40 fight record with only 5 to 10 wins. What price brings is a name only. I would fancy any top 20 British fighter to beat Price. Unfortunately Price has no confidence and the build up to a fight such as this would give him a nervous breakdown before the first bell rang.

He should just jump into a proper fight. He won't find anything out fighting people he will knock over.

He seems a good bloke Pricey and I was well on the hype train 2012 early 2013.

But the Hammer fight was a distaster and he should pack it in

Price is clearly much better than typical debut fodder and has already beaten numerous opponents like that or better.

Will be interesting to see the odds for love ko.

If it's anything better than say 7/2 I'll be on this.

how much motivation is there for love to actually try and win this? It's interesting to speculate whether a win would affect the earning potential for someone like him in his next fight, or whether he would just carry on in opponent mode against the same type of guys.

He's meant to have been seeing some mind specialist - but that'll only work so long then the nerves will kick in and he'll gas again badly.

He was too heavy last time as well.

Mick, my observation is purely on mental capacity to box and not on talent. I just dont think David price has the mental capacity to cope with fight night. A lot of people suffer stage fright, I do in golf on important events that I could have won but didnt have the mental capacity to complete the job. Pricey has talent im not denying him that its just his mental state competing at anything above a certain standard.
