3rd pro fight coming up this month but anyone know anything about him? Any amateur record of note?
His first 2 pro outings are impossible to go by. He is 26 years old so not a spring chicken to be starting the pro game.

He was a player on the US national scene as a junior, but he didn't really do much as a senior. He was involved in a fatal car accident in 2012 and I think he had to do some time for it, hence the late start.

Christ, he's doing very well considering He died 5 years ago.

I think he was involved in the 'Doghouse' sparring incident with the British fighter Donovan Cameron in the Maywather Gym on one of the 24/7 episodes a few years ago.

Surely not! Nothing surprises me anymore though!
