Is anyone else getting this, over the last few days the way a fighters record displays has changed and whereas before each fight was numbered now they are not.

I noticed that too. Not sure why this was done. It was nice to know how many fights an opponent had going into the fight. With current fighters you can pretty much just add their wins and loss, but some of the old-timers had a lot of no-decisions.

Yes, please correct this.
Also the loss of separate NWS (Newspaper Decisions) on the old timers records is a shame.

Another problem is KO%. Now all they are doing is taking the number of KO divided by the number of fights (not including no-decisions!)
This is an incorrect way to figure KO%. An no-decision fights, a fighter did have a chance to stop his opponent and was unable to do so.

So for example take a look at Mr. No-Decision himself, Harry Greb.

He had almost 300 bouts in his career, counting no-decision bouts. Now they since they are not counting those fights at all, he only had 119 bouts. With 48 KOs, his KO% suddenly more than doubled to 40%. That is deceiving.

Hope this gets looked into.

Hopefully Boxrec will get all this sorted in the near future.
As it is, the old system was much more informative.

When you click on "view this bout", each fighter's number of KO's on his record is now gone. Not cool.

BoxRec is a tremendous resource that I use on a regular basis. Editors, please don't remove data, especially something important as number of KO's at that point in a fighter's career.

Theyve been dicking around with it for a while now and its become a lot less user friendly, from the forced logins, to the abnoxious and intrusive scrolling banner ads, to the changes in format.

I can no longer see 'in which round' a fighter may have won or lost by KO, am I missing something? Need I click something?

Bingo - Thank you - I was typing a post (logged-in) and opened a second BoxRec page to check a fighter's record; the second opening didn't automatically log me in thus the limited info. Huh! - I jumped the gun and thought they made another change.
