Am planning a trip to London and just wondering if anyone knows of any boxing museums or other attractions I could take in while I'm down there? I found the Ring pub which looks worth visiting. Looks like they have a lot of memorabilia there which is just the kind of thing I was thinking of. I also have an interest in old bare knuckle (Tom Cribb & co) as well as modern boxing so if anyone knows any particular places of interest in that area it would be much appreciated!

there's the Tom Cribb pub near Piccadily Circus, it's got a tribute to bill richmond there too. it's a small place with a bit of boxing memorabilia on the walls (from memory a hatton photo among others) and well worth stopping off at

going to london next year, will keep an eye on this thread

I really like that pub. It's small and an oasis of non-commercialism near the most commercial part of the Uk.

Cribb is buried in the churchyard of St Mary Magdalene Church, Greenlaw Street, London SE18. Maybe check that out.

Didnt think about graves but yes thats a top idea, nice one.

Tom Cribb pub sounds good too, wonder if it was actually his pub?

Didn't know that, Im not even a minute from the Grave yard, will pop in tomorrow, hopefully he is in the east wing side which public, the other part you have to 12pounds George Michael was recently Buried there after his death at Christmas....
