Its still early days and they've all got a lot of learning to do, ive not been that impressed with Conlan, Barnes or Shakur, very underwhelmed so far

Okolie and Kelly look special, Fowler looks fun, Cordina is skilled and Buatsai looked good from what little we've seen

They 5 are all Matchroom fighters, does mean I'm a casual and have been sucked into Eddie's wicked seductive charms?

See, I think Okolie looks so-so. Powerful, but rather crude and open even fighting at a low level. He had a late start and it shows IMO. Will be interesting to see what his chin is like. He has a spindly look and Savon dropped him 4 times in 4 rounds, though the Cuban is a good puncher.

Barnes the least impressive of them IMO...seems like he could be another Tom Stalker to me. Stevenson hasn't blown away his opponents, but I like his skills and he's the youngest of those names by a few years. Kelly showing plenty of talent and has been beating his opposition like a top prospect should. Fowler looks solid but unspectacular.

All these young GB guys look at AJ, Yafai, Campbell etc...they see the limelight/Sky/money and there isn't anything else really to touch it in the UK.

The sign up and immediately JD Sports Sponsor them all - plus they all get huge exposure for sponsors.

Now with AJ signing Buatsi/Okolie to AJ Boxing - it's all being kept under the one banner.

FW/BN/BT don't seem to have any pull - they will have spoken to them all and didn't get any - says something surely ?

All 5 looks capable of reaching a decent level - hard to say how far at this stage - Josh Kelly looks pretty special.

I thought Barnes lacked power and was pretty poor so far - certainly didn't look to damage power wise.

I don't think Fowler is anywhere near as good as he thinks he is.

He is the type of bloke who would take up yoga so he could suck himself off.

I hadn't seen Joe Cordina yet, just went and watched the Aguilar and Thorne fights and liked what I saw. Looks well rounded, put's his punches together well and moves very nicely.

The commentary said he was guilty of switching off during fights and I saw glimpses of that a couple times he seemed too busy admiring his work and got clipped but if he can focus I think he could be one of the better ones.

Okolie looks the business so far but definitely one we won't know how good he is until he faces someone that can take his power

In my opinion I think Paddy has gone past his peak as a boxer. Can't blame him for turning pro though to make a few quid. He may pick up a few minor titles but won't go past European level.

I disagree with the OP about Conlan. He's showed glimpses of brilliance in his few fights thus far.

Kelly looks good, looking forward to seeing more of Buatsi and Cordina. Predicting that Okolie turns out to be a big stiff idiot.

Paddy seems a good guy but I think the difference from his level right now to true world level is too big.

It did seem they were targeting the Shiming fight but Zou lost recently. Don't know chance of the kimura fight happening but if that belt gets in the hands of Ioka (WBA) or Higa(WBC) Barnes has no chance.

Fowler should have been DQ'd on his debut. He also ( after the Zeuge fight) said Paul Smith is world level ( I am not joking)

As for Okolie I think he is very suspect. He looks really wide open with his punches.

I know there has been "INTENSE BEEF" between Okolie and Isaac Chamberlain recently. The less hyped Chamberlain has gone out of his comfort zone to spar the best cruiserweight in the world (Usyk) what has Okolie done to try and get better ?

Shakur Stevenson looks a boy in a man's world. Good skills tho.

I think Joyce may go further just because heavy divisions. Is so shite.

Also I always confuse Josh Kelly with Josh Taylor. But I think they may end up with a similar fate. I think Taylor is better.

I agree re Okolie being wide open - he's went trading with red mist every fight so far - will be interesting to see if he's gets caught of better level of fighter.

Ya, Stevenson hasn't shown much power as a pro, though I think he's got the right skills to do well. More power could come as well, as he only recently turned 20. He did score a nice KTFO in an Olympic qualifying tournament:
