Apologies if there's already a thread for this, but was wondering if anyone had heard wether the Smith fight was going to be televised in the uk? I haven't seen any announcements and it isn't on sky,so was wondering if anyone can shed some light on it.

Sauerland Bros said back end of last week it'll be around 2 weeks for the UK TV decision.

Take a lump sum from 1 broadcaster or split it is their issue - Groves/Eubank does good PPV - they need Sky and platform to do this to maximise £££.

Sky only want 2-3 fights - it's whether they can break it up like that.

Needs to get sorted. Usyk v Huck kicks it off the week before and that is just over 2 weeks away.

Surprised Sky isn't all over this as several cracking fights with enough British interest that depending on how the tournament plays out could likely warrant a couple of PPV's to offset the cost, obviously there a few less interesting fights but simply don't show them live & just fit them into the schedule where possible or make them on-demand exclusives.

Not a bad idea, but the cost of the whole tournament
might cut into the sky boxing war chest and jeopardise big fights down the line.
Still no mention from the Sauerland's..I know Callum smith had a "media day" at his gym but not sure if the tv was there.
