Look at Lomachenko to see McGregors fate...

Lomachenko was one of the best amateurs of all time, turned pro, had a debut pro fight , yet couldn't beat Orlando Salido in his second outing.
But people are genuinely talking up McGregor to beat Floyd Mayweather on his debut?

I sure hope so! I don't like that Irish clown. I just hope Floyds not got Ray Leonard syndrome for this one.

I couldn't agree more. It didn't turn out for another Olympic Champion on his debut.

I just hope both fighters leave the ring tonight safe and well. Has the potential for one of them to get hurt and hurt bad.

That happens every time anyone steps into the ring....

Granted but when one of a boxing novice against the best of his generation the odds of something bad happening must multiply!

Wales has it exactly on the money, I think I said on a previous thread that McNeeley had a much better chance against Tyson, Tyson had been out much longer, in jail, lived really badly and had obvious mental issues, and Mcneeley had boxed before. But then McNeeley didn't have any tattoos!

The Lomachenko was a surprise - he had surely sparred 12 rounds plenty of times but it seemed the distance in the actual fight was a big factor.
How is Mcregor going to cope with 12 x 3's after fighting 5 x 5 minute rounds or whatever.

The only way mcgregor lasts the 12 is if Floyd lets him, there is something not sitting right with me with this fight can't put my finger on it , but some sort of collusion if it's a straight up fight Floyd stops him there is no other outcome

I've been thinking the same - that Floyd will have to carry him - but surely he won't risk being caught by a wild shot and losing a 50-0 record?
I still don't get this fight though.

How much are they both earning ?

Yes, and aside from this, there have been several world class kickboxers with good punching who turned pro but never did anything of note. Conor has never beaten the type of strikers they have....who has the best hands out of his MMA opponents?

Absolutely no chance for conor to win, you're way off on him wishing he didn't make close to 100 million for 3 hours of being punched. His biggest problem here is going to be how tough he is, he's going to eat a lot of leather before this one gets stopped.
