Neither deadly with the fists so another points win for Warrington.

Possibly an easier opponent than most out there but its a route to a world title fight.

In Leeds again so not thinking Warrington will lose.

What a good fight.Ceylan matches up well with most of our featherweights and they are usyally entertaining fights when hes involved.

I think they are both quite similar in that they will both be using lots of movement, both comfortable boxing backwards.Neither guy has much power, although I would say Ceylan has that bit more on his shots.

I think this fight will swing in Ceylans favour due to his size advantage compared to Warrington and his range.

The one thing Warrington must do is learn from Ryan Walsh mistake of not throwing plenty of shots at Ceylan.Cant allow Ceylan to dictate the pace and range you have to keep him busy and Josh should be able to do this with his style.Just as Lowe was beggining to do before the cut.

Good fight, worthy contenders.Ceylan on points for me.

Great match!
Am I right in thinking the winner faces Lee Selby?
Because that is a big ask...

Wow, this may be the first time I've actively looked forward to a Warrington fight. Excellent match-up.

Really good fight. Didn't know about this til I saw this thread. I'll look forward to this one! Struggling to pick a winner and that's the way it should be!

Really good fight and the card is impressive:

Josh Warrington vs. Dennis Ceylan - Final eliminator for IBF world featherweight title

Tyrone Nurse vs. Jack Catterall - British super-lightweight title

Damon Jones vs. J.J Metcalf - Eliminator for the British super-welterweight title

Zelfa Barrett vs. Chris Conwell - Vacant English super-featherweight title

Plus Darren Tetley, Jack Bateson, Jack Daniel, Sam Maxwell and Reece Mould. Apparently a couple more fights to be added.

Good fight. In a final eliminator for IBF but he turned the fight down last year so I'm still not convinced he will ever fight Selby.

Warrington will outwork Ceylan to a close Points win.

That's what I initially thought but I think Ceylan is the better technician of the two. Think it will all depend on how he can adapt to the pressure from Warrington. Really good fight. Without a doubt the right level for Warrington. If he does win this fight in style then I wouldn't deny him a shot at a world strap. I've not been convinced of his credentials at world title level so far but a win here would catapult him up there.

Anyone know why Isaac Lowe didn't get the rematch. I thought he was starting to get to Ceylan when the fight got stopped because of the cut. Can't see why the rematch never materialised

It was a voluntary defence and ceylan hasn't defended his title since or been ordered to a mandatory defence

I'll say Warrington right now just because of his recent fights against more experienced boxers but I wouldn't say Ceylan is out matched in this fight by any measure.
Coming in as a European champion, he's won the belt and defended it in a sense despite the fight being stopped due to a cut. I think with the fight being in Warrington's home town though he'll be the strong favourite on the night though since Ceylan has mainly fought in Denmark despite making the trip into Finland and Germany in the past.

The only fight I am not interested is the Zelfa fight, he needs to step up.
I said this numerous times frank warrens matchmaker is really good. He gets a lot of fights that gel expect the last card

He should fight Townend who stopped Conwell. Ward beat Townened quite easily but if a fighter is chinny Townened would expose it.

Zelfa is very well thought of though. I've seen most of his fight's 2018 should be a big breakout year for him
