It's nuts that a guy making his debut made more money that most of the best ever fighters made in a career

It's the obsession the public have with mma that's caused this. They imo would be the ones buying it. I don't think so many of the hard core boxing fans would.

Seems the official figures for the PPV for last weekend are going to come in at 4.6 million which is not as many as they thought it would do

More specifically the obsession with McGregor. His figures are light years beyond anyone else.

As a comparison Miocic v dos Santos II did 300k in the entire United States, compared with Joshua Klitschko doing over 1.5m in the UK; a country with a population that would make up only 20% of that in America.
