People started call Ortiz overrated

There is a big chance Wilder will fight him and boxing fans once again showed how pathetic and biased they are.

There are two big names for Wilder and those are Joshua and Ortiz.

So how is top 3-5 guy , unbeaten giant puncher with amazing boxing skills overrated?

Can i call Povetkin and Parker overrated too based on their recent perfomances?

They both struggled against Takam so i gues Luis Ortiz eats them both alive.

How the fornicate is Ortiz overrated. There is no more dangerous contender right now.

Are those internet insecure fanatic boys realy so scared that Wilder proves them wrong after those years they've trashed him? There are already bilion excuses and those lunatic boys who cried for years that DW fights nobodies are realy retarded. Seems like they do not wanna Wilder against anyone who has pulse so they can trash him again and again. It is part of their life. Washed old fat men who are bullied in real life ...

Talking about retards on boxingforum24.

Tell me than who is bigger name than AJ or Ortiz lol.

And sorry for this post. It is not only about DW but about boxing community as self.

... Ortiz was too old ...
Parker had no power ...
Povetkin was too short ...
Wilder was too chinny...
Joshua had no stamina...

I thought most people want Wilder to have a challenge?
Ortiz is rated, I don't know about over rated?
You have to rewind him 3 fights back to see how good he is. I don't know if he will be that good again but I hope so. The HW division is a bit thin in the A level so we need him to be good.
As for calling Povitkin and Parker over rated- your choice, but I think they, like Ortiz are neither over or under rated. I do think out of the three that Parker has the potential to improve and the other two have the potential to decline due to age being the most influential factor.
You seem to have a wasp in your Y-fronts about other people's opinions. Who cares?

Don't be so offended most boxing fans are casuals who don't know shit about boxing. Don't take it to heart man. If anybody calls him overrated it's because they don't have boxing knowledge. He's just old not overrated.

I guess you have watched 78sports too often lately, nobody is saying such things and everybody wants to see a fight between Ortiz and Wilder. 78sports is the only channel who's acting like there are such people around and hides every post of people saying what's really going on. So it looks like you posted something, but in reality only you can see your own posts.
I still feel sad to hear that some people actually believe 78sports.

Saying a certain fighter is “overrated” does not necessarily mean that you’re suggesting that they’re garbage!

A little over a year ago, some people from this forum dared to have the sheer audacity to claim that Luis Ortiz was “the most complete heavyweight since Lennox, BY FAR” and that “Nobody wants to fight this guy”, but after witnessing the Cuban face the likes of Malik Scott & David Allen, it’s almost impossible to support such absurd notions!

Luis Ortiz IS overrated, because he isn’t anywhere near as dangerous as a lot of people claim him to be!

For sure, the Cuban is a good fighter that is capable of beating a lot of decent heavyweights, but I feel that he’s already past-his-prime and is not the best in the division right now.

He’s almost certainly not some sort of indestructible behemoth that is capable of decimating any opposition that stands before him!

Simply put: Luis Ortiz IS very beatable and IS also overrated!

Only thing you can say about Wilder that is not pathetic and biases is that he is a bitch.

Ortiz looked a monster vs Jennings and Thompson

He looked pedestrian and ordinary vs Allen and Scott

Big differences in the level he looked in those 2 sets of circumstances

This equals differences in how high people will rate him. For some he's the goods, others will say that they are overrating him...

It's not a big deal. None of those guys above are anywhere near winning a wt, so we'll find out if he's good when he fights for a belt

I think you nailed it.
I thought he was the goods 3 fights ago, and back then AJ was still climbing so in comparison Ortiz was a top contender. Now I'm not so sure. Sometimes fighters get dragged down to the level of their opponents, maybe that is the case. Or like most are saying it is age? It will be a shame if he can't achieve the level he had Vs Jennings and Thompson :verysad:

To the average boxing forum poster all boxers are over rated, only fights bums and nobodies and should retire
The average boxing forum poster is age 25-26, never been in a gym let alone inside a ring, never met a boxing contender and has never seen a title fight in person.

These are the people who criticize Wilder.

He's a step above Stiverne and would be Wilder's best win, but he has been immensely overrated. He's looked horrific lately and is likely already past his prime. He's easily the most beatable guy in the top 10 at the moment.

Yes and no. There are logical criticisms of Wilder.
However, almost all of these criticisms exists in other fighters who aren't being criticized.

Unfortunately, the average boxing fan only watches big fights (HBO, SHO, now ESPN)
I know many boxing fans that would rather eat shit than watch FNF.
So, "real boxing fan" is like a "real good driver".

Given the articulateness and grammatical fluency on this forum at least, I would surmise the average age is 10 or 20 years more than your assumption.
Anyone I seem to talk to under 30 struggles to compose an intellagable sentence without drifting off with a 1000 yard stare.
But heck, I'll be 25-26 but I might have to trade in the missus for a newer model (not actually a model)

I'm 45. I'm glad when I was born, vaccines were kept to a minimum. It's not a coincidence that autism rates have gone up in the last twenty years.

Lol are you retarded.

Look how Povetkin looked in his recent fight or Parker against that novice bum who was ranked 200.

Before you even say something about Ortiz lmao

I've heard a lot about how poor Ortiz has looked, and how over-rated he is lately. Are boxers really only as good as their last fight? If that was so, Joshua's win over Wlad would mean next to nothing. As poor as Wlad looked vs Fury, no one expected Joshua to struggle with him and almost get KO'd. Instead of the dogshit performance like he had vs Fury, Wlad performed valiantly against Joshua, so people gave Joshua credit like he had just beat a prime Wlad that hadn't been touched in 10 years. Wlad made a tactical error and took his foot off the gas when he could have finished him, and instead got KO'd himself. I guess we all have to put things in proper perspective.

Until Ortiz gets beaten, he is by far more dangerous than any bottom half of the top ten heavyweights. I guarantee he will become shot and over-rated 10 fold if Wilder beats him. People that hate Wilder are already beginning to denigrate Ortiz, just in case.....and if he beats Wilder? It will be Wilder that was horribly over-rated. Credit should go to the winner, but bias and stupidity get in the way more often than not.

Malik Scott is actualy better than Rudenko or that bum Parker has fought in his recent fight ....

Now i can say that Povetkin is too old and did look terrible in his recent fight ....

And Dave Allen is atleast ranked higher than recent Parker's opponent who Parker did not even hurt once ;)

Kaboooooom haters

Their resume speaks for itself. Parker fought Takam and Ruiz Jr. Ortiz's only opponent worth a damn was Jennings. Before you say something at all to me don't come with a retarded argument. :KO:

Parker looking bad against Takam or Ruiz Jr. doesn't count against him. They're both a lot better than Malik Scott. I have my doubts Ortiz would look any better against them either.

Pulev is a great fighter. The only clown here is you.

Cojanu was rated 14 by the WBO at the time he fought Parker. Allen has never been ranked that high.

Not only is Pulev NOT a clown, his resume is better than Ortiz and Wilders. :TU:

Though I don't know why I'm wasting time responding someone who ends terrible, opinion based posts with kaboooooom haters.

Not a waste of time. Good response. I could add that Cojanu was a last minute ex sparring partner replacement who went in the ring with the sole intention to survive 12 rounds and not actually win. Also you got the correct amount of o's in kaboom ;-)
