Morning lads, can we dissect this fight please I've never been on the Okolie hype train and after today (yesterdays) performance I think Isaac stops him !

What do you lads feel?

Okolie by tko. Too much power for Chamberlain.

All I know is that Okolie is not ready for a serious step up. Lets see in one years time.

I think he's got talent but these guys aren't machines they have off nights, he can go back to the gym and learn his trade and learn more about himself.
3-4 fights before he'd be ready for the likes of Stephen Simmons imo

Isaac's further down the road in terms of development - you won't look great every night and smashing through guys in round 1 does nothing for your development.

That Cameroon boy he fought last night will have taught him so much more than all his previous fights.

Okolie is an accident waiting to happen. Can't wait.

He's inexperienced and doesn't need to be rushed. He's got the tools and the power he just needs to learn how to use them.

Last night he was too scrappy trying to force the fight when he didn't need to. He was too keen and too close and smothered all his work instead of sitting more on the back foot and using his range.

Can't see hype about okolie tbh? Slow hands, no jab, think it'll only be a matter of time before he's KOd

Definitely needs to keep on a flat trajectory for a while. Couple more fights like Mendouo and he will have learned a lot.

Sad to see people revelling in his rawness and hoping he fails. Bitter.

Now maybe. But it was a good learning fight for okolie. As when hit he wanted to trade and threw wild punches. His game plan went out the window. But if he can learn from that. Then you can see what kind of fighter he might be

Okollie needs to learn how to jab..

Looked raw at times,but credit has to go to his opponent who made life in the ring extremely tough for him at times.A few more fights along those lines,then a step up with someone like vallily would be a really good scrap.

Never been convinced by Okolie, was getting tagged clean in his first couple of fights as well. Looks stiff to me. No inside game, doesn't really use the jab to keep his range, can see it leading to a lot of messy fights like the other night. Seems to be a bit of a banger but ran out of ideas quickly when Menduou took his best shots. Needs a lot more time in the gym before he's anywhere near ready for a step up imo.

agreed, Okolie needs to be moved very carefully I can easily see him being stoped by a solid British level or even European level CW
