It has a little to do with boxing, but do you think its aim is to add more interest to Hughie's boring personality (he is quite opposite to his cousin) or to give him more confidence before the biggest fight of his career?

I've seen Eddie Hall outboxed by a welterweight, this is nothing. I love the Furys, but these antics and stuff doesn't really help raise Hughie's recognition or help sell the fight.

Punching sides of beef
Swimming in icy lakes
Carrying sheep
Wearing cammo and not hunting
And now sparring with a fat bloke 1/4 as fast as Joseph Parker?
Is there any relevance to this media circus sideshow act??
I've seen Parker in camp via the media and it is all serious stuff. The guy is coming to Manchester in peak condition and ready to rumble. Be warned Huey Fury!

Peter got a lot of praise from arselicking pundits who really should've known better for "masterminding" Tyson's win over Wlad but with hindsight it's clear that was purely down to Tyson's skillset and the mindgames he played with Wlad.

There are so many little snippets we see from the Furys' training camps that reveal them to be amateurs winging it in a professional world.

Its just a bit of fun to stick on social media.
Theres no harm in it but its not actual sparring, Eddie Hall isn't a boxer, long retired Scott Lawton played around with Eddie Hall a while back and he was a lightweight (I think).

I fully understand that it is a bit of fun. My point was that apart from attending the May/Mac fight, Parker has been training seriously from the day he stepped off the plane from the Fury presser. With no time to do silly promotional pap. Being based in Las Vegas and drawing on decent sparring opportunity's. Just check Joe's Facebook page for the training clips- it's all business man!

I give it 60/40 to Parker and I expect it to go 12 rounds and be entertaining. How do you see it Lee?

Height and reach are negligible and age is easily a disadvantage but again not really an issue (22 v 25 I think?).
Parker appears to live and train better, has no public history of health or other issues, is stronger and has shown he can do the distance in a bit of a grueller. 75-25 Parker I'd say, points or late stoppage.

Huey has a decent jab, Parker will have to eat a lot of leather to get the job done. Have you seen the two of them side by side? It's quite a difference..

Interesting watching Parker's training vids
He is making himself small, comming in with a few fast shots, leaning back and moving his head. All in an effort to negate Huey's jab I expect.

Sure I have, 3-4" height is no different to 3-4lbs at heavyweight, it's neither here nor there.

Exactly. He's doing a lot of hard sparring behind the scenes and he'll be ready. I think he's got a very good chance of beating Parker.

Looking at their records it fair to make Parker favourite, but I have a feeling about this.

With his dehabilitating health issues aside now, I expect to see the best Huey Fury yet.
If it were not for Parker having a good chin and doing 3 12 round fights back to back, while Huey was inactive, I would agree with you.

Interesting fight. I like hughie as a boxer fundamentally sound. But dont think hes got the pop to hold parker off. Although tyson gets the name of not having pop he had enough to stop guys in their tracks. No sure hughie has that. Its pretty much a case of him fighting the perfect fight.

Can see parker getting to him eventually tho. Hes been a bit off form recently so could make it interesting. Cant help but think hughie still needs more development before going in with parker tho. Theirs still a stage hes missed out in his career before tackling a parker type opponent.

Interesting tho cause after watching tyson develop under peter and getting the win against klitchko...you ve now got to have a bit of trust in peter. He kind of dumbfounded everyone with the win. Actually think hughies technically better than fury or equal anyway just doesnt have the pop or the weight/slightly smaller etc. Be interested to see if peter can pull it off. Seems a shrewd operator.

Parker sitting with a 76 inch reach advantage not helping him for this fight. Got little t rexers.

3 or 4 inches in height is a far greater advantage than a few pounds in weight.

I sparred with the British Heavyweight Bodybuilding champion Ian Wadley, in 1996, no big deal, you just get to know what it feels like to get hit by a powerful person, and yes it did hurt, he was very powerful, as I was fighting heavyweights, I had to spar with some big guys,
