Eddie plays two strategies in making his big fights, the long and the short game.
The short game is obvious, look at AJ.
The long game is more subtle and it has taken a few seemingly random occurrence happenings to put forward this idea.
It is my belief that Eddie is working on getting Parker's belt for AJ in a big event.
Of course he is
Here's how I see it;
Parker Huey Fury- Eddie has been sniffing around this fight from the beginning and was involved in talks with Parker and his team. He also introduces Parker to Haye and Bellew. Parker works out at Haye's gym and gets offered the use of it before the Fury fight. Parker is again put next to Bellew at the May/Mac fight. With Eddie lurking about. Eddie offers Whyte as a stand in for Fury, talks in back room with Duco Events, Parker's promoter.
I give Parker 60/40 to beat Fury, so do most folks. So Parker is the key. Bellew wants a belt and puts bums on seats. Easiest belt is Parker's. Parker shows interest in fighting Bellew after Fury. If Parker wins against Bellew his UK profile is enough to make the AJ fight big enough, if Bellew wins he brings his fan base and a belt.
If AJ is busy, Eddie puts the winner of Parker Bellew against Haye until the AJ fight can be made.

Long tall or short strategy , If Parker beats Hughie , he will definetly be in Hearns plans for the future , simply because he has the belt , He's gonna get used and abused so lets hope for his sake he manages to make plenty , then retire a folk hero in NZ

Yes. I fear that his manager will do what he did to poor David Tua and drain all Parker's money and leave him broke. The same guy that robbed Evander Holyfield of his chances of a gold medal by a rigged decision, and then blowharded about beating him ever since

I can definitely see Eddie trying to make Parker vs Bellew (provided he gets past Huey).

Parker would likely destroy Bellew in front of his own fans, but Eddie won't mind as it would give Bellew one last pay day and also give sky a chance to hype a potential Joshua fight to death.

But as you say, there are a lot of variables in the equation:
Will Huey spoil the party?
Will Haye get to Bellew or Parker first? (and will he have two working legs?)
Will Parker/Huey winner opt to fight Dillian Whyte instead? (Eddie would love this)
Will Tyson sort his situation out and return to the ring? (not likely, but stranger things have happened, I suppose)

Bellew will fight Haye...it's the only fight that makes sense for both of them. If Hughie beats Parker he will duck Whyte again. If Parker wins then I can also see a fight vs Whyte which would set up a huge fight against AJ for the winner.

Yep, same guy that was KO'd on his feet by Holyfield and won the decision, Holyfield got the Bronze and Barry ended up with the Silver. He then managed and trained David Tua just like he has with Parker. Tua took Barry to court, after ending up broke less than 2 years after losing his title fight and by then there was no money tracable to recoup
It's complicated but the short story is that Barry sucked him dry like an Ethiopian hooker.

I should say that Tua is doing OK.
Not a rich man like he should be, but happy.
He runs a boxing gym that makes an income through boxing fitness training. He has a great woman by his side that manages the finances. They channel some of that back into training at risk teens through boxing and he fund raises for cancer research by putting on fight nights with these protégés. It is a shame what happened to such a nice guy, but he has come back from it and is truly giving back.
