Tell me your opinion if would a prime Mike McCallum beat a prime Davey Moore (not the featherweight champion who lost and killed by Sugar Ramos, who recently passed away) at junior middleweight? In my opinion, McCallum would pull a Duran on Moore by using his trademark body punches to wear him down and stop him in 10 rounds. What is your opinion?

At Jr middleweight, the great Mike McCallum was better than The Hands of Stone. That is because that is The Body Snatcher's weight class and not Duran's. So, if Duran gave Davey Moore a beating when Duran was way past his natural weight class and a little bit past his prime, then McCallum, IN HIS PRIME AND WEIGHT, should not have a problem with Moore.

McCallum could beat Moore, but I think if Davey came with a plan to box a little, slug a little, he could win a close one. We'll never know how good Davey Moore really could have been, since the Duran fight ruined him.

If a near past prime Duran ruin Moore, then the prime McCallum would ruin Moore worst.

No way prime Mike ruins prime Davey. It would be a heck of a fight.

I respect your opinion, but we will never know how potential Davey Moore would be as a junior middleweight had near past prime Duran didn't ruin him.
