I'm done with the WBC, always trying to get their noses in the biggest fights just to get a sanctioning fee!

This is making me want Canelo to win so they can look stupid again for making another stupid belt.

Boxing is seriously becoming a joke with these commemorative belts to go along with actual titles (the main four anyways, fornicate all the silver and gold and super duper belts).

If I was either fighter I'd tell them to shove it, no way would I pay any extra sanctioning fees for that worthless piece of shit.

Probably not , but that belt is a marketing gimmick to remain under the wbc umbrella and that means keeping the 'WBC World Middleweight Title' which means fat fees!

Mayweather was holding the money belt after the fight. He likes the WBC and vice versa. I think that is why the judging was so biased because it should have been scored close up until the stoppage. Mayweather's strategy was to wait until McGregor tired to go for the knockout.

I believe Mayweather paid to have the money belt constructed as a prop for the winner to wear thru the WBC.
