Contrasting amounts everyone quotes, some say he cuts from 175ish others say higher, I know Canelo is a big guy (probably not a big MW) but everyone keeps on banging on about how much he puts on when he rehydrates so what do you think?

about 185-90 i guess. more wouldn't surprise me.

I'd guess he starts his camps at about 185-190 like C-Per says. I reckon he will get in the ring at about 178 on fight night. Thing is I think Golovkin will only be a pound or two lighter on fight night. He always comes into these check weigh ins light but has never looked small in the ring against an opponent that I have seen which leads me to believe he cuts weight for the check weighs as a bit of mental one upmanship.

i think Canelo will be around 182 in the ring (bearing in mind he put a lot of muscle on for Chavez) and I guess GGG at around 173-175, but, eh, what do i know.

Canelo looks a lot thicker than GGG In the pics being bandied around but I have learnt that pics in isolation mean little, put them side by side and there may well be a different story and I think GGG is going to look significantly bigger at the weigh in.

He used to weigh 170 to 174 on the fight night before. I imagine he will be 175 + now, which is only slightly more then GGG weight.

really? how come? Canelo was going into the ring as a 154lber (175lbs +?) heavier than GGG has as a middleweight (172-174?), I think (?)

I was told yesterday on good authority George Groves comes down from 90kg so about (200lbs) I don't think most fans realise how much weigh boxers take off these days.

f*ck man 200lb to 168lb is a rough cut, is that the norm for most super middleweights because I knew when Jack was a SMW he used to cut vast amounts of lb

It seems like there's some confusion as to what weight cutting is.
Weight cutting doesn't mean the slow gradual weight loss over the course of an 8 week or longer camp for a contest, it means the very last minute weight drop that is far more popular and prevalent in MMA but does also happen in boxing.

I do not know about how they replenish the system if I am honest, not something I have any experience of and I am just going by the eye test of how much larger he looks to me when they were face to face announcing the fight and in the ring for the face 2 face (and when according to the above, Canelo has replenished to a decent size). Plus a guy who can squeeze down to 154 and below for a weigh in must surely carry less tissue than a guy who can only squeeze into 160

I bet he walks around 180-185

I'd say at start of camp he might be 190. He won't be more than 170 two days before the weigh in and he will drain off the 10lbs during the 48 hours pre weigh in. I reckon he will rehydrate to around 180 by fight time.
