During a war of words between both camps, Saunders called Monroe a "queer" - which raised some eyebrows among the press members attending the workouts at London's Peacock Gym. Saunders has been in hot water in the past for making what some deemed homophobic comments on social media.

This coming Saturday night, Saunders defends his WBO middleweight title against Monroe at London's Copper Box Arena.

Saunders (24-0, 12 KOs), now trained by Dominic Ingle, has very little respect for the skill set of Monroe and believes that he will give him a proper trashing on Saturday.

"All you are is a load of bums coming over here and you're going to get dealt with," Saunders shouted. "If you'd like to tune in on Saturday night, you will see this queer get beat, you will see him get stopped, you will see him get knocked out (and) knocked out bad."

Saunders also got in a confrontation with Monroe trainer, T.J. Nolan. He took a hat from Nolan and shoved them down his trousers.

Saunders told Nolan - "Next time bring your mum here as well... and we'll f*** her like a b****"

Monroe on the other hand believes Saunders is talking a lot of trash as the days count down, because he's in fear of their scheduled fight. "What's the classic defence against fear? Noise, right? What did he come in here doing? Making a lot of motherf***ing noise," Monroe said.

Selling a fight, fine it's it's PPV. I think he just wants hype around the fight. That trash talk of BJS hardly works. Especially with GGG or Canelo. They don't talk much. Just fight.

Saunders is a knob head man! He'll more than likely box Monroes head off though. I can't see it even being close if Saunders is on form. He looks as if he's prepared properly for a change so this is his time to show what he's capable of. Monroe is a decent fighter himself so of Saunders boxes anything like the way he did in his last fight he'll struggle!

If I didn't dislike Eubank so much I would probably think he is a complete bell - but because of the whole BJS - Eubank saga, I like BJS. Some of his comments is very close to the line, but when he is on form I really enjoy watching him.

BJS on form beats Monroe every single round however, the BJS in the Akavov fight could easily lose this. I think we will see the best BJS on Saturday, I think Ingle will get the best out of him.

Has BJS won every round against anyone decent? He was in particularly poor shape last fight, but he's given away rounds and struggled late on at pretty much every point of his career. He may just not be that strong in the stamina department, whether he's trained hard or not.

He should win, but I don't expect him to be levels and levels above.

One thing's pretty likely. IF he beats Monroe, we probably won't see him fight again for quite a while...even if it is against a gimme opponent. He apparently needs a year or so of rest to even take one of THOSE fights.

And for the record. I didn't even think he beat Andy Lee in the first place. I had Andy beating him by 1 point.

What ever happened to that time when Brits were stoic and kept a stiff upper lip?
