An interesting breakdown on the fight. I know a lot of you don't like Compubox and I agree it's not a good way to score a fight and the punches landed can be quite inaccurate, but it is a good way to judge a fighter's level of activity and stamina. Had this fight taken place two years ago, GGG would have had a huge advantage. Now, he still has the edge in workrate, but it's closer. Whatever the result, I expect GGG will throw more punches overall, significantly more jabs and a similar number of power punches.

Golovkin and Canelo will both throw about the same amount of punches until one of the clearly gains the winning momentum.

GGG will throw more individual shots, like jabs and looping hooks. Whilst Alvarez will intermittently throw lightning fast combos.

The Kazakh usually throws more speculative shots than the Mexican, but this won't be the case on Saturday night, since I expect both men to adopt a very cautious approach until one of them realises they're falling behind on the scorecards.

Pretty much as I expected - GGG clearly the higher stamina fighter with the better workrate. Canelo is a highly skilled guy but his stamina is very poor for an elite fighter.

it pretty much agrees with my 117-111 personal scorecard. Golovkin clearly won, no one should even consider a draw. especially because it was an IBF title bout and IBF does not allow to score 10-10 rounds.
