Sorry GGG but I have Canelo putting a good performance against you

I think Canelo will be able to mix up very well boxing and swarming styles confusing Golovkin who will rely mostly on his jab and being in Canelo's face to pressure him.

May the best man win without any controversy or crooked decision.

How many 'Canelo's got superior skills/looks in better shape/timed it right' threads have you made now? It's been going on for months, and I find it a bit strange, because you otherwise come across as a bit of a GGG hugger.

Not much longer till we see what happens....

I'm very emotional and excited about this fight. I want GGG to win by T/K.O but I can't ignore the fact Canelo is a strong, experienced, young, in his peak fighter. I have mixed feelings about this fight and I can't wait to see it. :yay:

This fight makes me feel so nervous and anxious. You have to put this fight next to Hagler vs Hearns :OhYes:

A lot of people are putting this one up there with Hagler/Hearns but i don't see it as nearly the same fight. Hearn and Hagler hated each so much and were like 2 pit bulls. As soon as their collars were off, they went after each other in a non stop frenzy until it was over. This fight is going to be way more cognitive than that one was. There's going to be lots of traps placed in this one.

Barring Golovkin's injury, Canelo's performance won't matter. He can't suddenly become a fighter with great footwork and stamina. GGG will wear him down and stop him.

I can't picture anyway Canelo can win besides a bad decision.
GGG is just twice the fighter Canelo is. And I'm no GGG nuthugger. I've been very critical of most of his title defenses.
Oscar kept Alvarez away from GGG for a reason.

Canelo avoided looking at GGG during weigh-in until he had to do the face off. That is not a sign of confidence.

I don't read too much into these things unless it's a mike tyson opponent. Some fighters are pumped and want that stare down, others aren't and it starts with the first bell.

Kell Brooks body language looked great compared to spence, but it really didn't matter

Interesting that Buffer didn't announce Canelo's weight until after he stepped off the scale. Did anybody from Golovkin's team even see his weight?

I think both looked good. GGG appears a couple inches taller despite the listed 1 inch difference

I'm smelling a Trilogy here guys, this fight could come down to just one cracking punch which either are more than capable of doing.

Where was that punch against Chavez or Cotto?

I hope it's a good fight, but imo Golovkin is going to muller him early.

Any guess what weight GGG will come in at fight-time?
