What a terrible way for a title fight to end. Under conditioning, for both guys it should have said "F@ck it"

Duran comes in overweight for Nino..........and scores a brilliant KO. Their series has just been all over the place. At least Duran got a definitive win against Nino finally...maybe another down the road if Nino wants....

Duran shows up Badly Overweight, all Nino had to do was fight smart and extend the fight, and Duran probably would've gassed later in the fight, but instead he walks into one early...*sigh*....ah well. Way she goes.

Ketchel is the new Champion, and we're 1-1 against each other, but honestly one or both of the Sugar Ray's deserve their shot at the crown. They've both been asking for their shot, they've both been getting good wins. Greb got his shot to regain the title, and got no better than a draw...so in a rare showing of humility I'll step back from the World Title situation, and allow one of the other deserving contenders to take their shot first.

I'll announce, and make it clear now though so you can all mark it down.

Week 30.

Whoever is Champion.

Harry Greb is coming back for HIS title!

this card has some crazy results, Mickey Walker gets the TKO after nailing Charles with an Elbow :oo, Duran spent his training camp at Burger King and still managed to score a 2nd round KO against a guy that gave him all he could handle in two fights :o and the World title fight was just a mess

Feels a little weird celebrating after that one! Still, first time I've managed a lineal champion so... :yay:

I'm indecisive about what I wanna do next - a part of me thinks releasing some of the belts might shake the season up a bit and that might not be a bad thing. I'm also musing on whether it'd better to give someone new the same opportunity that Ketchel got to fight for the belts, rather than either of the Sugar Rays (though he has avengeable losses to both).

Open to feedback on the belts to will just have to see what offers come in first for Stan's next one before I decide there.

Break up the titles? NOW Let me get something straight to you buster! That's GREB'S Undisputed Championship you're holding right now! All these belts WERE separated until HARRY DAMN GREB unified 'em all!

If you're gonna break up all the titles first, you better whip Greb's ass in a Rubber match before you go ruining all his good work. Work that YOUR man Ketchel wouldn't even be capable of duplicating might I add!

Whatever you think sounds feasible to you. I do see the idea of clearing out a belt or two might give the end of the season a much needed spark. Though part of me thinks having all the belts to one guy let's everybody know who the man is. Ultimately, it's up to you.

Ray Robinson would be interested in a Ketchel rematch or fighting for a vacant belt.

Tommy Ryan has never fought for a World Title this season. He's now ranked #15. Ryan and Ketchel fought once in the Million Dollar Tournament. Ketchel got the win. Ryan wants revenge...it's his first shot at a World Title...what better storyline you need?
