What i am like to see:

GGG traveling to UK and beat all the crap of Saunders and becoming undisputed champ
Canelo fighting fight where he gets credibility back - Charlo - it can be big event in Houston

Then, set up Cinco de Mayo megafight.

Btw i had GGG winning 116-112 and i was rooting for Canelo

Get as far as fcuk away from Golden Boy. Joke decision. GGG clearly won.

This what's wrong with boxing. The fans (all Mexican) can't be wrong.

I felt GGG couldn't give up 4 rounds... If he gave up 4 he wouldn't win because they'd find a couple more to give to Canelo, whatever they had to do.

I think they'll both sit out until next spring and do the rematch on Cinco De Mayo weekend.
That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

At least we got a good fight tonight.............not fight of the year but a very good fight. Regardless of the decision tonight, the fight was good enough that I want to see them in the ring together again.

"Regardless of the decision" completely devalues the entire sport, and the fact you'd be willing to pay again after such a farcical card was turned in the first time is one of the major problems with boxing. There is supposed to be a winner, a legitimate winner and when that is taken away then what's the point? You can watch good scraps without a winner by going to your local gym and watching some sparring.

Until people start standing up against the idiots ruining the sport then the idiots will continue to ruin the sport. Easy money.

I agree. The fight was a good one; but what's the point in watching if Stevie Wonder is scoring it...

The only reason for GGG to fight Canelo again is money. He know he needs to win 10 rounds or get a KO because 9 rounds aint enough.

I want him to retire.
He was like an old man in there today. Missing his jab and moving like a pensioner. Retire undefeated. His slip in the Jacobs fight was real and against Canelo who was only fighting 30 seconds a round was even more. GGG is done. I think he won, but only just. Pack it in. A rematch will see him slaughtered.

Nothing short of a KO would be enough. The commentators were doing their part to paint it as closer than it was too. Roy was acting like everything GGG did well was an accident or Canelo was "letting him" do it.

Max was giving Canelo credit for things he wasn't even doing.

That said, I dont think he has a good chance of ever beating Canelo with the way things are stacked. GGG will also be another year older and Canelo is clearly no mug who will be run over

Not sure whether i'd like Triple G to fight Saunders or rematch Canelo next.

One fight will fulfill his goal of completely unifying the division and cementing his legacy as a great middleweight, while the other makes him a multi millionaire.

Theres a big possibility of getting robbed in either option though.

Also It's probly best if Triple G's next fight is his last fight, i think he may have just enough to put 100% into only 1 more big match.

Id like GGG-Saunders next. A Canelo rematch feels dirty and unfair, though money will be there...

If they don't fight each other again immediately, I don't know they both deserve easier fights IMO. I like the rule, one hard fight, one easy/moderate fight. And I'm aware thats not a official rule.

GGG has had 3 fairly tough fights in a row. He kinda deserves a break at this point. Canelo had an easier run prior to tonight.

Yea I do agree. ALthough I don't care too much at this stage. They faced each other. Can't really say a bad thing about Golovkin, except that Father Time has caught up to him. On the other hand Canelo...there are some critisicms you can make but I want to watch the fight again and will reserve judgement. Both tough as nails, golovkin the tougher nail though.

How has Father Time caught up to Golovkin? He fought well and deserved the win. He's still got more career ahead of him.
