Should GGG unify with BJS and retire or that rematch is so a$ppealing ?

I mean I don't see GGG getting the decision in rematch and also the time is not on his side. Probably GGG would find BJS in December and then remtach Canelo on May or September 2018. Anyway it's hard to turn down so much big money from a rematch and retire.

Let him fight Jacobs & BJS. Let Canelo fight Lara & Charlo.
If both win their fights, let them fight again.

GGG may fight BJS because of that wbo belt but Canelo fighting Charlo isn't going to happen.
Also there could be a solid chance to see Canelo fighting BJS and then try to unify with GGG in rematch.

To address other comments in this thread, Canelo is very unlikely to face any Al Haymon-affiliated opponents like Derevyanchenko, Jacobs or Charlo, due to GBP's failed lawsuit. HBO are also very reluctant to do business with Haymon, unless it's for big bucks.
Moving onto the thread topic...
GGG is currently obliged to defend his WBC world title against his mandatory challenger, Jermall Charlo. He might be given permission to postpone this by engaging in a title unification bout against Billy Joe Saunders. Alternatively, Team Golovkin would have to seek special permission from Mauricio Sulamain to allow the Kazakh to engage in an immediate rematch against Canelo, which Oscar De La Hoya stated last night that he is contractually bound to.
Abel Sanchez has already gone on record stating that neither Charlo nor Jacobs should be deemed worthy opposition for Gennady Golovkin in the short-term, because apparently he wants them to "earn" their title shots. Team GGG have no plans to fight either of those guys.
Sergiy Derevyanchenko is likely to get a shot at GGG before the Kazakh agrees to the Daniel Jacobs rematch, because the Ukraine fighter is the mandatory challenger for the IBF title.
Golovkin's other options, if he doesn't engage in a rematch against Canelo or refuses to face the likes of Saunders, Derevyanchenko or Charlo, is to either be stripped of his IBF & WBC titles, make the jump to 168lbs or consider retirement.

If Golovkin is serious about fighting Alvarez again, it needs to be his next fight.
He's lost a step & another wait for another fight against Alvarez will only mean more lost steps.
Despite not being quite what he was, he still beat Canelo & we all know why Golden Boy wanted to wait as long as possible for last night.
Another potential wait plays right into their hands again.

On one hand I'd like the rematch hoping golovkin will kick canelos arse worse
In the other part of me says fack Canelo and fack GBP. It's cheating. So fight Saunders and unify

Man, Saunder's stock has dropped so bad. Dude look horrible against a fighter GGG blew through.

He should fight dereychenko or Charlo and either pass the torch or maintain it. We've seen all we need of GGG/canelo.

I think Charlo should be his next opponent and if he wins, then Saunders to get all the belts and then retire if he wants.

Based on Canelo's intention of fighting on Cinco de Mayo but not being willing to commit to a GGG rematch on that date, I think GGG should go for the easy payday with Saunders. He can walk through BSJ in his sleep and add a 4th belt to his collection while Canelo waits out the clock in hopes of GGG losing another step in the next year or so.

Since the Champion retains all his titles in a draw -- Golovkin successfully defended his Middleweight Title for the 19th time.
A BJS fight would be electric... and his 20th successful Middleweight Title defense -- tying him with Bernard Hopkins for the most in Fistic History...
Then the rematch with Canelo would be his 21st straight Title Defense and a rematch with Jacobs would be his 22nd. He would be the greatest Middleweight in History beyond question because Hopkins had 2 losses when he left the division... Then he could go after Ward at Light Heavyweight at 37 after picking up the Super Middleweight Title form Gilberto Ramirez. He would be 42-0-1 and it would be a pretty good career by that point.

He should definitely turn down the money to prove some point that no one cares about.

Cotto in December. GingerHead in May. Fvck that boring pig, BJS, with that utterly meanless belt.

Golovkin shouldn't wait 8 months which is a closest possible time for the rematch. Get the last belt from BJS.

Good luck on that. The pig is busy chasing a glass jawed, blown up super lightweight.

It's either Saunders, Canelo, or being done he might consider a title at 168lbs but this is about maximum earnings now. This guy has been fighting his whole life, he's slowing down, get that money.

If the earliest the rematch can happen is Cinco de Mayo then Golovkin should stay busy by relieving Saunders of his WBO belt. I like BJS but he poses no threat to Golovkin. GGG should pursue that fight for December or January and go into the rematch as the undisputed champion. If he does that and comes out with the win in the Canelo rematch, I'd have no problem with him sailing off into the sunset with his health intact.

Cotto is an option too unless the diva changed her mind looking at what happened to Canelo. I wouldn't want Golovkin to waste time on Cotto though.

You think cotto is a woman? That's up there with the most retarded things I've ever seen on here. If boxing was full of cottos it would be a major sport.
