BAD JUDGE ALTERNATIVE

Having a Poor judge Ruining fights could be resolved with a simple technique .
Use the Round Majority to determine the Actual Round Winner and the fight result..
rather than leave the bad judges score total to effect the outcome of the fight..
EXAMPLE..
Round 1; 2 x 10-9 Scores and 3rd judge scores 9- 10
his score dont count. Round is Scored 10-9.
and when the score tallyer at ringside receives the round by round scores he can make the correct score on a seperate score card. Scoring this way would have resulted in GGG winning 115-113.
It just eliminates the possibility of a corrupt judge influencing the outcome of a bout.

That's actually not a bad idea.

Use the 3 official judges scorecards as a template for an overall Tally scorecard. I've never heard that idea pitched before, but I gotta tell ya...it ain't bad.

That is a good idea for cases when only one judge is bad/corrupt. Unfortunately, in Vegas, it is often more than one.

Using this format the Pacquiao Horn fight would have reulted in a 116- 112 Win for Horn. after the WBO used their 5 judge review panel the scores would of changed to a 114-113 Win for Horn.
it is used in the Olympics in some sports where they eliminate the highest and lowest scores to combat biased judges. so it should work in Boxing.

A Corrupt judge cannot change the outcome of a bout.
In some Casinos in Vegas the odds for a Draw are anywhere from 40 to 80-1.
It only takes 2 judges to rig a result. One votes for the loser the other scores it a Draw. They know the other judge will get it right and score for the rightful winner.
a $5000 bet wins $250,000 approx..

At the very least it will cost GBP more money to buy two judges instead of 1

Absolutely genius idea dude. Wow. Can't believe it's the first time I've heard this.

Considering one judge had it a win for Canelo and another a draw, would the judge who voted for Golovkin not have been discounted as often as Byrd?

Do what they do in Figure Skating. For the Olympic and World Championship events they use 12 judges.. They throw out the high and low scores and add the 5 best scores.. Any score that diverges substantially from the norm is tossed.. They almost always come up with scores that reflect exactly what actually happened in the routine because the judges are highly skilled and do their best to get it right.. The judges aren't fans of one competitor or another and are judging scores of routines every day working through a weeks' worth of athletes. There're no weight divisions. The athletes all compete for the same titles. The judges have a heavy work load and hundreds of technical aspects to consider compared to a Boxing judge -- who just sits there on their fat ass like a fan, and writes down their dubious impression of who won a round. Obviously many of these dull witted Boxing judges can't even keep count of punches that land.

Adalaide Byrd was only the WORST judge judging the Golovkin-Alvarez Fight.. Don Tella's score of the 7th round for Canelo makes NO sense WHATEVER!!! ... Even Byrd scored that round for Golovkin because it was a dominant round for GGG.. Trella scores that round correctly and GGG wins.

It's not Boxing's scoring system so much.. It's the judges Boxing uses.. They have no real talent, training, or skills... They STINK!!!!

Also many of them are simply corrupt... How can anybody come up with 118-110 for Canelo??? ... That doesn't seem possible for anyone who can see.
