I was a little surprised that GGG couldn't at least hurt Canelo

I mean from the previous GGG's fights he managed to inflict some damage on his opponents. Even against Jacobs, he dropped him. But Canelo wasn't really bother of GGG's power shots.

Opinion: Golovkin hurt his psyche. Canelo has been delaying and training for this fight for years, he's in his physical prime and has had more pro experience than Golovkin. He hit Golovkin flush with his best shots and Golovkin came on harder. About mid way through he chose to survive, its evident given he had enough of a reserve of energy in rd 12 to mount an offense. Once 12 arrived, round 12 where there is no further rounds and a bell rings to end it.
Golovkin on the other hand put it all out there and would have gone out on his shield if it had come to that.

If Canelo wasn't bothered by GGG's shots, he wouldn't have backed away 90% of the fight. GGG made Canelo
run.

He hurt canelo a few times imo, but canelo did a great job of disguising it and recovered very quickly.
Canelo is much tougher than i thought.
It's also worth noting Golovkin never quite landed a fully flush haymaker on the sweet spot - Canelo seen them coming and rode them.

canelos good feet and upperbody/ head movement took the sting out of most of GGGs punches

Canelo probably ran more than all of GGG's opponents including Jacobs.

What I noticed about Canelo is that he knows how to roll with punches and he has some good waist dodging moves.

All of the above posts are accurate. I will add that -
1. Either GingerHead's counters were quick enough, and powerful enough to keep 3G from attacking the body, or 3G simply headhunted entirely too much. He should have been positioning himself to land the heavy right hand to the body.
2. As I and others have stated previously, 3G's right hand has slowed down significantly. When that happens it becomes difficult to pull the trigger on it, and it fails to follow the left quickly enough or work as a lead effectively enough. The fact that GingerHead chose to escape by spinning out to his left all night is clear evidence that they had recognized this on vid.
3. Both Jacobs and GingerHead moved extremely well and were huge on fight night.

Then you're very late because he was doing that before he fought Mayweather.

Also I think GGG's reluctance to throw with bad intentions that right hand was to not get countered by Canelo with that quick left uppercut to the body. I think GGG's most vulnerable spot is his the body.

During the fight I hoped to see GGG landing clean a bomb on Canelo's chin to see if he gets wobbled or dropped.

In these pics Canelo was landing a huge haymaker on GGG's chin. Very powerful shot.

GGG took it well but I wanted to see GGG landing this type of clean-hard punch too, to see the reaction of Canelo.

Golovkin's power is overrated. His KO ratio is largely because of his style/skills and boxing IQ. Murray said that Groves hits harder than Golovkin. Even with Lemieux GGG's power was not a problem, he was just outboxed completely. And it wasn't a proper knockdown with Jacobs.

You think this was a real fight? You think GGG was allowed to go all out and kill the future franchise money maker for the establishment and Las Vegas?
Wake up time brother. This was a half intensity spar session choreographed to make money and maintain the puppet fraud known as Canelo.

So now GGG is featherfisted because he couldn't hurt Canelo who hardly ever been hurt?

I guess Mosley, Kirkland, and Cotto are featherfisted also.

I have no clue who they are, but they probably are indeed.

Murray also said that when Golovkin hit him, it was like giving birth. Ask Ishida and Macklin if Golovkin's power is overrated. He was just cautious trying to avoid Canelo's counter punching. There may also be a problem with his right hand. I thought it was injured during Jacobs fight.

If you don't know who they are either you're trolling or have no business debating on a boxing forum.

Well, I just googled them, Kirkland hasn't fought in years, Mosley won 3 of his last 9 fights and nobody watched Cotto his last fight because most were more interested in junior vs a guy who just made his debute.
