Wale makes the 1st defence of his British Bantamweight title against Broadhurst on the Parker/Fury card this Saturday, I like Wale he always gives good value and has been in with a who's who of British boxing over the last 10 years or so, I never seen him beat Wilson to win the title but I hear it was closer than close, I was gutted Wilson couldn't win the Lonsdale as he's from my way but at the same time I was happy for Wale that he finally won a major title after numerous attempts at the British or Commonwealth straps

Wale's fought most of his career at Super Bantamweight and although he's not a puncher he's always been strong and durable, even when he fought Gamal last year for the Comonwealth he was well beat in the end but he done a lot better than I thought he would've, when I heard he was moving down to Bantamweight to fight Wilson for the British, I thought he might be too strong for Wilson who was a Super Flyweight but I don't know if Wale was drained or Wilson was more suited to Bantam but either way it was apparently razor tight

Ive not seen much of Broadhurst lately, seems like yonks when he was Commonwealth champ at Super Flyweight, he had that stinker against Haskins, ive only seen him here and there, he's beat Louis Norman last year so he must be in decent form coz Norman isn't a pushover at this level

Nice fight this I'm picking it to go to the wire, Broadhurst's skills might nick it actually

racking me brains over this one, I think you have to go with the more active guy which is Wale, most likely on points

That was a great fight, a come from behind KO win for Wale, he was getting his ears boxed off, I'm not exacagarating(?) when i say Broadhurst boxed like a young Cassius Clay in that fight, he boxed a perfect fight against the bigger man, always on his toes, dancing and making Wale miss time and again , fair do's to Wale that was some right hand to finish things. you don't get many KOs like that in a career , that's a belter

Edit- I expect the Clay/Broadhurst flak but unless Counter Puncher or Tomasino prove me wrong then i'll hold my own against the rest of ya
