I didn't think Clifton did much wrong just told the Parker Team to be careful, backed them off reasonably then it calmed down.

The success of a product is down to the demand. Hughie Fury on Youtube PPV flopping doesnt mean that the platform or idea is wrong, would just mean that its the wrong platform for his limited appeal.

If Joshua v Klitschko was on youtube ppv it would be a success, same with Mayweather v McGregor etc. I would argue that its possibly a good platform for someone with enough popularity, on this ocassion that may not be the case. Fury would probably be better with a channel where an audience may just stumble by when flicking through the channels.

Not ahead, behind. Youtube is FREE! The demographic that watches youtube isnt used paying for the content. This is a case of someone with old mentality misusing new medium. They should have streamed it for free and monetize it through advertising.

MMA has taken over completely. There are simply more people who watch the UFC events than the boxing events.

I watched UFC Japan last night and it was a very enjoyable night. Branch vs Rockhold card last week was awesome too.

We're old school and probably don't like change much so we'll continue to be hardcore boxing fans but personally I'm more and more switching to MMA.

Too many farces in boxing. You rarely get MMA headline fights where you know that one guy is coming to completely stink the joint out like Hughie is tonight. I was reluctant to get into MMA and I regret that now. Call me old fashioned I guess but It's very enjoyable and watchable.

Still a tough sell at £15.

YouTube is handy for catching up with fighters you haven't seen before.
But I prefer the big telly and HD for the big fights. I barely get cell reception, broadband is a distant dream

name me a time when boxing has had top fights every week, involving every nation from around the world in every weight ?

YouTube could be the way in the future especially worldwide so hard to secure broadcasters in multiple countries with YouTube anyone in the word with internet can access it and there's not many TVs without it built in nowadays

You get HD and a big screen if you have a smart TV.
