Bad Jack surrenders title to duck Bivol

Another classic mayweather duck move. Paper Haymon chump has to fight a Russian beast mandatory and gives up the title to duck the Russian. Another joke embarrassment by another fraud American boxer.

It just keeps getting more ridiculous.

Floyd Duckweather set the precedent of cowardly ducking and now ducking and dodging is the norm for American boxers.

There's already a thread of this. Also Jack is with Mayweather and not Haymon.

Pretty much the same thing. Mayweather already said it.

Hate America much?

You really stretch when you have to stoop to find an overseas boxer like Badou Jack who is only based in America as an excuse to bash Americans.

I've had many Canadian friends over the years who love and respect America/Americans as much as we respect Canada/Canadians. But I've found that those rare Canadians who do hate America/Americans suffer from a condition known as "America Junior Syndrome"...you hate us because you ain't us!!

To be honest, my statement was more focused on the OP's obsession with Al Haymon.

If only more Americans were like Adonis Stevenson, and fought the best.

Jack is from Sweden & Bivol from Kyrgyzstan, but alright.

Guy who's fought Dirrell, Groves, Bute, DeGale & Cleverly surely ducks this unknown. Bet he hasn't even heard of him. Might even be the reason to vacate. No money to be made. And the belts are insignificant jokes anyway, aren't they?

Badou Jack's decision to refrain from facing Bivol was probably done for financial and political reasons.

I don't believe that Mayweather Promotions, assisted by the riches contained within Al Haymon's PBC war chest, would be willing to even consider attempting to outbid Andrey Ryabinsky.

So with there being so many vacant 175lb world titles, they may have decided that other options were financially and politically more viable than allowing Badou Jack to face the talented, but unheralded and anonymous, Dmitry Bivol.

Let's keep things in context though, Badou Jack only held the WBA "regular" title and there was no guarantee that he would have been elevated to full "super" champ status. So all he's guilty of doing is dropping a belt that most boxing aficionados consider as useful as a giant steamy hideously foul-smelling turd! :OhYes:

Jack surrendering a WBA 'world' title is no big deal; he'll pick up another one next time he opens a new box of Corn Flakes in the morning! :TU:

Useful thread

It's reminded me to update my ignore list

'Scoop' (which, by the way, is a nauseatingly self-inflating label for any would-be 'journalist' to label themselves), you're a total fvcking idiot.

It's another calculated duck of a beast. You guys are advocating this pathetic duck. Champions shouldn't fear challengers or show fear. Jack wants and needs protection.

Your trolling is rather effective! I can see why you get so many people to take the bait and "bite" at your puerile nonsense.

Badly Jack is a good fighter.
I remember Quillin being forced into a weird duck some time ago too.

I'll wait for the details before lynching Harmon/Mayweather like the rest of you.

Unless Jack faces someone in or around world level, then I think it's a dumb move to dodge Bivol. Maybe he heard that fight won't be for the super WBA title or something? I dunno.

Remember the days when fighters were warriors and champions were men to be admired and revered.

Half of today's beltholders are seemingly protected frauds or coward ducks.

Mike Tyson said it best. "Today's fighters are businessmen. I was a KILLER."

If only another Mike Tyson would come along and boxing would be great again. Boxing needs a Face of Boxing like a Tyson. Thank God we got Tyson and got to live through his reign of destruction. For those who were born too late to experience Tyson, if you only knew...

Killers get killed... They don't last as long ... Live by the sword, die by the sword. Of course, you can switch or tweak your style like Foreman.

Besides, Mike is a damned good businessman with all the stuff he's been doing... I know Holyfield is jealous as Hell of him.

Best businessman boxer so far was Foreman... You'd have to be damned good to put more profitable deals together than George.

Tyson shouldn't be kidding himself, he was a businessman too, especially when his team paid Lennox Lewis to step aside in order that Mike could defend his titles against the supposedly easier & far more lucrative option of Evander Holyfield.

He ducked Evander long before that. Though I think more aptly put it was King that ducked Holyfield.
