The Future of Hughie Fury?

Where does he go from here?
Can't put bums on seats.
Inactive for 17 months, then has a stinker.
First loss.
Where too from here?
What fights are out there for him, if any?
Who would make a good opponent?

Well he scammed us all . He said he would knock Parker out in round 4.
Ok that was a prediction but he didnt even try to knock Parker out . He ran for 12 rounds trying to survive.
He should never have taken the Parker fight . He had no chance unless judges were corrupt.
HOWEVER . I would like to see him fight Ruiz Jr or Carlos Takam . Then if he can get through them he might bulk up enough to develop some sort of power in his punch so he doesnt have to run like a little boy for 12 rounds .

rematch with Parker?
vs. Malik Scott?
vs. David Price?
W@rren should be using him as co-main to Flanagan in Manchester until he gets in position for another title shot...

I dont think anyone would pay to see him fight Parker again .
David Price would be fun to watch . I think Price having weak chin might give Huggie a chance for KO .

Regular fights building up to British title level. He needs to get active if he's going to build a profile.
This fight was an anomaly; Hughie is a million miles off people like Wilder and Joshua and would get terribly beaten by both.

Maybe a sparring partner for Parker?
Help him to learn how to chase down and stop a runner, close off the ring
Other than that, maybe a Dave Allen or Price type fight on an under card.

Hammer would be an easy enough fight to make, the teams have worked together before.
Hammer is ranked 2 with the WBO, 4 with the IBF and 12 with the WBA...

I don't understand all the negativity around Hughie I thought he showed some very good qualities he made Parker miss all night and showed a decent engine , he's only 23 and needs to work on his strength and accuracy .a Chisora fight would be a good fight .

Maybe he could look at winning the British Title then work his way up from there.

Parker's bad but Fury even worse , you can't expect to win a heavyweight championship fighting like a girl , the Fury's call themselves fighting men then Hughie boxes 12 rounds scared / petrified to engage with Parker who was barely much better ( non existant jab ) bet Dillian Whyte is begging Eddie go get Parker back over here !

Depends which one turns up , Chisora has a habbit of losing but giving a good account of himself ,.malik Scott was easily beating del boy before he quit I could see Hughie doing something similar but not folding . 50/50 fight

It was too soon for Fury. He didn't disgrace himself but he's still pretty young, has only faced one fighter above Euro level prior to this, had over a year out and was coming off the back of injuries/illness.
He needed 2 or 3 tune up fights first. A British level guy like Cornish or Allen, a top 50 guy like Adamek, Flores or Mansaur and then gone in with Parker.

Good points.
It's hard to know how to take Chisora because he literally does blow hot & cold.
I've never really rated him, but he went up in my estimation against Whyte.
If the Chisora that fought Whyte turns up, Hughie Fury would be in a for a 'mare.

Del Boy would run out of puff chasing him about the ring

It's not a problem that he lost, it's how he lost. It reinforced many observers' concerns about him - not enough power, unwilling to engage, boring to watch.
He's skillful but he's going to be a nightmare to match and that is the main problem that came out of last night's performance in my opinion.

Cornish is good prep for a title shot? Jesus wept!!

Inactivity and whining about last night's result is Huggy's future.

Nobody will want to fight Fury. You have to chase him whole night in a stinker and then he will claim he won because he is Ali. It will take lot of money to get anyone in the ring with him. Where the money going to come from? Youtube?
Hughie Fury has no future, other then perhaps in a bar right next to his demented big cousin.
