Does anyone have access to a photo or a link to the actual scorecards from Saturday night's fight?

I can't find a link on twitter and the BBBoC website just gives the result.

I am interested to see which two rounds Terry O'Connor (and John Madfis) gave to Hughie.

I don't know what rounds the judges gave to hughey but I scored the fight 118-110 and felt good when two of the judges agreed with me.
I gave Hughey rounds one and ten.
I must add that Terry O'Connor has gone up in my estimation.

I scored it 114-114 giving Hughie rounds 1,2,4,6,8,10.

I thought it was an awful fight, neither man deserves to be ranked in the top 10 Heavyweights in the world for me. Some credit has to go to Parker for at least committing and trying to win the fight but in reality I thought he showed very little variety in his work.

Does not seem likely that we will ever get to see the actual scorecards.

Who watched that fight on this side of the Atlantic ?
It was a non event no one cared.
Only because the Heavyweight division is so thin that it registered so much of a blip on the divisions radar.

I think the fight got a lot of attention on this forum because it was so obvious that is was going to be such a huge financial disaster for the promoter.

As it turned out this is most likely to be the case, consider the following.

Large purse paid to Parker (1.1 millions pounds has been reported in the press).
Venue which holds 21,000 was hired (Manchester Arena), from all reports only around 4,000-5,000 tickers were sold and most of these were sold by the undercard fighters.
The fight was broadcast globally on youtube.com (cost of 15 pounds in the UK), the number of viewers on the freeview of the undercard was around 5,000-8,000 so I cannot imagine any more than 10,000 people paid to watch the fight via this platform.
There would have been significant PPV interest in NZ in the fight, I am not sure how this money was split.
A sanctioning fee would have needed to be paid to the WBO and the BBBoC.
Security and Medical staff would have been needed at the venue.

Have I missed anything out?

I read somewhere that Hughie Fury's purse was £750,000. If true, that has be be taken into account also.
Aren't the sanctioning fees taken out of the boxers purses?

If you read other threads on this forum you will notice that the speculation is that Hughie will not be paid anything for this fight.

Fury may have been dull but Parker's aggression wasn't effective. Parker did virtually nothing. At least Fury was circling throwing junk jabs.

Maybe he won't take it if it is family money.

I listened to the American Boxing Voice live round by round of this (man those guys do a lot of podcasts) and they not only enjoyed this rubbish fight but both scored it to Hughie and one of the dudes was calling it an outright robbery. I've got to the stage where I find it really boring to score boxing matches and just want to see a good fight. This was crap with neither guy doing anything entertaining at all so I don't care all that much about the decision but in all honesty is that just the opinion of someone who dislikes the Furys and hopes that they go away? It does seem odd that Hughie lost so wide in his home town on his own show in a fight where you can't really pick a winner.

It's hard to be objective.

I am certain that Hughie won this fight but I think it will do him good to lose and realise that jabbing and moving is not enough to be a world champion-he will emerge from this as a more aggressive and better fighter.

ppl calling it a robbery are dumb dumbs who are easy to fool. running around the ring like a twat and throwing air jabs is not 'outboxing' an opponent. parker missed lots but so did about 99 percent of hughies jabs because they were thrown from across the ring because he was too obsessed with making it a track meet
