Parker received lot of unwarranted criticism in my view in the aftermath of Fury fight. It is not his fault the fight was a stinker. Hughie will make anyone look bad. Maybe Joshua can crash him fast but with anyone else it will be a long, run and grab affair. If someone refuses to engage, runs and as soon as you are in range holds, there is very little anyone can do. Fury got no warning for blatant holding before 12th round.

Still Parker will do well if he tries to improve his profile before the big unification fight. Joshua/Pulev winner versus Wilder/Ortiz winner is already set in motion. In the meantime what would be the best profile building fight for the Kiwi?

I agree with Horse.

I think Whyte would be a cracking fight but a bit risky if they are chasing the AJ mega pay day.

The furys are notorious for stinking the place out. Even in the klitschko fight Tyson did the same. You'd think he won every round based on what you hear now but did you know that wladimir was the favorite with the bookies after the final bell. In Germany, with fury practically throwing nothing all night, I'm surprised he got the decision.

Its perceived as a master class yet if Wlad had got the verdict the response would be Tyson didn't do anywhere near enough to guarantee the victory, just like Haye-Valuev.

He would want a Brit. In terms of profile plus risk I think Bellew is a perfect opponent. And actually Bellew might agree to it.

Neither man did anything much. Fury came to stink the place out after giving it large like Hughie did before he came to stink it out. I thought fury won but not by much and we've seen what can happen in Germany.

I dont anyone has ever rewatched the fury klitschko fight and I don't think anyone will. I certainly won't. It's up there with Malik Scott vs Ortiz in terms of rewatchability

You must have missed most of Tysons career!

Would love to see him face Whyte on the Bellew/Haye undercard, build up a possible fight between the winners, makes it worth the ppv money too. However, highly unlikely.

Probably go back to New Zealand and face Gary Cornish.

Parker vs. Lucas Browne should be a huge fight in his part of the world...

His promoter mentioned a fight in Japan post fight Saturday.

Apparently Fujimoto's team are discussing the fight soon, money only stumbling block. Decision needs to be made relatively quickly or it'll take place next year

Interestingly it would likely take "the Ioka spot" on Kyoguken as TBS have shown some of Kyotaro's other fights and Ioka's career is on a hiatus due to a huge meltdown with his father and promoter Kazunori...giving TBS a gap to fill...

The TV Tokyo card on the same day is expected to be headlined by Kyoguchi vs Buitrago.

Let’s not lay all the blame on Hughie - Parker has been in 2 major stinkers in a row.

Anyway, I’d like to see him fight Bellew.

I think Parker is well capable of beating Whyte. That fight would help build Joshua clash nicely. There is also Jarrell Miller highly rated in the organization. This if he wants to fight in America.

Yes it's a rubbish fight, but at the same time it's only a stay busy as all the other top heavyweights are tied up in fights anyway. Makes sense to me as they're looking to fight him at the end of this year.

Parker needs to fight over here and knock somebody out
