Who will emerge as the future King of Boxing

2018-2020
The best year in a very long time is about to end. Like i predicted 2016 was the year where the a level boxer clean out the divisions from all the b-d level boxer and 2017 will be the year where the top boxer who are left face each other in order to determin who the #1 in each division is and in lots of divisions it happened just like that.
Now we know the a level for sure: loma, GGG, crawford, spence, just to name a view.
Now my main question is whos gonne be the boss of all bosses. Whos gonne be "the man" of all these proven a level. For a long time jones was the king of boxing, hopkins was king, floyd was king, manny was king, now its loma, who will it be in the future?
Winner of loma/rigo surely.
GGG has the best record, but is past his best and his skills are limited.
Crawford if he d stay at light ww, i predict ww will be his downfall. No one needs to argue with me aboit tc skills, i know tc, his skills are tremendous, great stamina, close to none weaknesses, but i just feel the top 2 will be physicly powerwise to strong for him
Inoue, if he finaly would open his mouth and getting his act together. I would favour him over estrada, gonzales and wangek and if he fought and beat those guys than mentioning his name as a possible king of boxing would be a must.

Joshua is a HW, Popular, KOes his opponents, good looking, speaks english, his fighting style is exciting, people like him, he's got all that to be a King of Boxing. some people think that King of Boxing must be an American but i dont agree actually

IMO, probably Saul Alvarez still. He's 27, and if he improves just a little bit more, he'll be a god. When you look at anyone else in the same p4p ballpark, they are all older, have less room to improve, have less time to continue doing new things (and if we're talking drawing power, Alvarez already has a major leg-up on everybody). One last thing to say about Alvarez, it's possible that he will learn from his experience against Golovkin, given the level of the opposition. Golovkin's and Rigondeaux's presence in the poll is the joke of all jokes -- they are going to retire any minute now (maybe 1 year in Rigondeaux's case, 1.5-2 years in Golovkin's case).
IMO, the best accomplishment/age ratios that present the best case for future p4p supremacy are...
Name / boxrec rating / Age
Saul Alvarez / 998 / 27
Anthony Joshua / 705 / 27
Terence Crawford / 992 / 29
Vasyl Lomachenko / 793 / 29
Miguel Berchelt / 633 / 25
Naoya Inoue / 464 / 24
Leo Santa Cruz / 586 / 29
Luis Nery / 645 / 22

I picked Crawford but you're right. The King of Boxing doesnt have to be American. Manny Pacquiao was king for several years in his prime, so he's probably the most recent example.
Joshua has already stated his desire to fight in the US and with his promoter Hearn signing that deal with HBO I would expect him to increase his chances with stateside exposure.

Stupiest sh;&t i heard in a long time. There is a difference between ppv superstar and being the best boxer, being the king of boxing. If for you the king of boxing is the guy that sells the most ppv buys, rather who the best is than we 2 speak 2 different languages. Do u rate ppv buys over quality of a boxer inside the ring?

Sad.
But now i know for sure that i am around of a lot of non experts.
This should be the best internet website of boxing in the whole world and what answer is given by a lot of people in here about who could be the king of boxing. Freakin canelo. A guy that everytime he steps inside the ring against the elite losses. A guy who lost his last fight against a past prime ggg. A guy with slow footwork, desperate runner who had no breathe left against a 35 year old. That is supposed to be the king of boxing. Because he makes the most money and money is surely more important than quality when determing the status of a boxer. Than joshua, who is lucky to be taller and stronger than 97 % of all hw, because his skills are b level. He is galaxys away from someo e like inoue if we talk quality.
You guys lost your credebility.

I think either Crawford or Lomachenko because they are in their primes. If Crawford struggles in the welterweight division assuming he goes there, then I think Lomachenko will be No. 1.

I agree that Canelo or Joshua will not be the king. The heavyweight division is so weak that Joshua will not be No. 1 even if he continues winning all his fights by knockout. Rungvisai is more likely to be the king than Joshua. If Canelo can beat Jacobs and Charlo legitimately, then he will be the king, but he won't either because he won't fight them or he will lose or he will win by a biased decision.

There's no reason to conclude that Alvarez would avoid Jacobs and Charlo when he's nutted-up to fight Golovkin, Mayweather, Lara, etc.

Good answer.
Exactly hiw i see it. Crawfords lateral movemant, patience, ring iq etc are top, if he dominates ww like he did lw than dude is king. Since i think spence & thurman will be to much for him than loma.

It's a possibility. They never offered Lara a rematch. He has the balls to fight these guys, but he knows that the judges will be on his side such as in the Mayweather fight with one judge scoring it 114-114. Canelo lost by majority decision, so it looks better.

If you mean King as in Top money maker, then Canelo, and in a few years Anthony Joshua.
If you mean top boxer in the sport. Crawford or Lomachenko.

Yes. And he is 4 wins away from cleaning out the division. So maybe by this time next year he will be in the poll if he keeps winning. You forgot to mention he has a powerhouse promoter as well. Theses days they are almost as important as the boxer!!

Crawford, Loma or AJ
Inoue will probably be considered the best but he's too Asian to break into the racist American market.

Joshua is well on his way. He ticks all the boxes and he's a heavyweight. Traditionally the Hwt C of the W is the King of Boxing. I'm not saying he's best pound for pound but that's a different question.

Lomassiah of course. Just wait until he makes a monkey out of Rigo. But in case he doesnt then it must go to Crawford. There simply isnt anyone else right now who has a quality comparable to these two.

Spence, Crawford, Lomachenko, and Joshua are all good answers?
How's that for an answer/nonanswer?

From a global commercial perspective, Anthony Joshua will inevitably become the financial future "King of Boxing".
HBO and Showtime are already aggressively competing to showcase his fights and Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Promotions now operates in the US.
It's already been claimed that it's a certainty the Brit will compete on US soil during 2018.
The heavyweight division has always carried the most prestige, garnered the most attention and also attracted the biggest paydays for all involved... and AJ will inevitably benefit greatly from those traditional perks.
